Said that the honest to god best thing would have been to overhaul the playing staff almost entirely, and give Ten Haag a blank chequebook, and three seasons to turn things round. As it stands he think they'll give him a season and throw another 'name' at the side in the hopes that'll fix a very rotten club.

Perez was a fucking weird one. He was at his best playing behind a targetman, pressuring the defence, linking midfield to attack, popping up with the odd goal. That's not how you play, is it? You were a clasic counter attack team, now Rodger is trying to mould you more into a possession based team. Neither of those are where he does best. Last time I saw him, he was shunted out to the flank where he's even less effective. Really odd one.
