  1. I think you underestimate how much his mother makes.
  2. I don't doubt for a fucking second that he's spunked his entire savings on this trip.
  3. He blames everyone but himself in that piece. Even says Huddersfield sold Stewart on deadline day in January 2000, but the transfer window didn't come into place until 2002, didn't it?
  4. It's possible that the YT income is paying for the travel, the tickets etc. But he's living with his parents who very likely bought his equipment (such at it is), so he's got no overheads because his parents are footing those bills.
  5. Telling that they think the only reason to get a loan is because you haven't the available capital.
  6. The heart wants what the heart wants, and my heart wants glorious, infuriating, brilliant failure.
  7. A lot of pissy pant predictions, if you ask me
  8. Why do you think it's to cover the business done so far?
  9. xMathyGenius will increase, xPantsPissing will not be tolerated
  10. Isn't Gerrard's family a bit nawtee? Has he found a new cash stream for them?
  11. I think an answer to both of these points is the scrutiny that new sponsorship deals are now coming under. If they hadn't tightened up that revenue avenue we may have already seen Fun88 replaced by Saudia or Aramco for tens of millions a year. So, to get those kind of deals, we'd need to be a more attractive brand to sponsor.
  12. I still want Sesko and given we've just taken out a big loan, I'd expect that to be made available for a transfer for or two.
  13. The country is fucked whatever happens. There is a flaw in expecting the Labour party to uncover some backbone because people withhold their vote. Two, really. 1, it's entirely possible that they'll see low support as an indication they need to go even further right, 2, what if there isn't an inspiring socialist to lead the party at the subsequent GE? Another 8 years of Tory rule? No thank you. I'll take this faux-Labour and hope the members, trade unions and backbench MPs apply sufficient pressure on Starmer et al. It's like standing by the road in Hell, I can either hitch a lift to Heaven in the approaching murdervan, or wait in the vain hope a group of nuns will appear in a soft top 1962 Cadillac.
  14. Fair points. However, for me, voting for the Tories, or not voting at all, is setting fire to the bus as we career towards the cliff edge. I honestly don't care about Labour, or Starmer, I don't care that he's unimpressive and speaks with the kind of vague platitudes that are designed to not piss too many people off (or at least not too many of the loud minority). I cannot countenance putting ideology ahead of pragmatic removal of a set of cunts hell bent on lining their pockets while the world burns. Labour may be incompetent, they may also have self-serving cunts, but I see more of them represent my views, my ideals, than anything on the other side of the aisle. And this country has no chance of returning to some semblance of competence while they're in power. We keep choosing the least of two empty vessels because that's the choice. Corbyn was full of passion and exciting ideas, look how he did outside of the socialist heartlands (even within them to be fair). If we want a left leaning government, I'm afraid we're going to have to vote in a government that's simply a little less right leaning than this one. There's just no way this country of cunts is going to about face and vote in an actual progressive socialist government. So I'll take my doom-bound bus with a little less fire, thankyou very much.
  15. I won't be voting for Starmer, or even the Labour party in the next GE, I'm voting against the Tories. If the Green party had a shot of beating the Tories, I'd vote for them and all. And if everyone was as shrewd as I, we'd have a new government sharpish. But, if everybody was as brilliant as I am, the whole planet would be a bald-headed, full-bearded, dad-bodded utopia.
  16. I don't understand the idea that you shouldn't vote for the opposition (Labour or Lib Dem) in an effort to oust the Tories, just because their leadership isn't the ideal you hope it to be.

  18. Think it's fair to say that nobody improved under Bruce, some plateaued, and some players' performances went off the fucking cliff.
  19. No, because if he did, he'd be Messi and not playing for a midtable PL side. Come on man Wykiki, this is daft. ASM is a phenomenally talented attacking player, he's been mint for us and leads the league (outside the top 6) for chances created. ASM has dribbled past more players (150) than anyone else in the league, the next closest is Dwight McNeil (82). He's 8th for progressive carries, 4th for carries into the final 3rd, 5th for carries into the penalty area, 8th for fouls drawn. Of all the positions in the squad, his should not be the one we're looking for replacements just yet. Almiron, Fernandez, Fraser, Lascelles, Longstaff, Murphy, Schar, Shelvey, Willock, Wood. All of them are less effective in their positions than ASM and more easily improved upon.
  20. I also have the same kind of get and go as this boat.
  21. ASM created more chances than anyone else outside the top 6 clubs. No, he doesn't do as much defensive work as Fraser but Beresford had to pick up the slack for Ginola, Bernard for Robert, and whomever for HBA. You have to come to terms with the fact that for a club like us, you can't have someone with the attacking ability of those players, without someone doing their defensive work for them. You don't demand Target beat 3 men and curl one in the bottom corner, do you? You want him to be solid, and defensively sound, right? If he was the complete player, he wouldn't be here.
  22. Fraser has improved, I wouldn't go so far as to say that he's improved 'massively' and even after this 'massive' improvement, he's still not as good as ASM. ASM has more goals than Fraser and more assists. I think the issue isn't his actual performance, or actual application. I think it's your perception of him that's the problem. I also don't, for a fucking second, think you want him to succeed.
