Exactly this, and given the number of new appointments we've made in the recruitment/development departments I'd have faith that we'll more closely follow a version of the Brighton model, rather than Chelsea or early Man City. At least 15 backroom appointments outside of coaches.

Pickford played well and Steele did not. Despite Allardyce's proclamations, he's doesn't know more than Guardiola, Klopp, Arteta etc. He knows one thing "get it in the mixer", it's not some kind of progressive, creative answer to how to be successful at football, but it will get you out of the shit more often than not.
