Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

No, yeah, I get that. But honestly, I've not seen you have a good word to say about anyone... or any thing. Cheer up Wykiki man, it's all just theatre until you're dead. -
Hard to believe that the Schar thunderbastard against Forest, ASM's against Wolves, or Bruno's header against Brentford were all in this season.

Doesn't load for me in chrome or edge

Which is very on brand for me, so we all got out of this what we expected. WHERE ARE THE FUCKING GIFS?!

I'm sure one of their arguments is that the only reason we have more fans is because we have a larger catchment area, but now they're saying they pull from all of County Durham all the way up to the south bank of the Tyne, and parts of Northumberland too?

It was less than that '2 x Monthly Wage' rule anyway.

Like this, for example. I do not understand. Michael Owen is the devil's turd. Any quality he may or may not have had is hidden under the mountain of satanic poop. -

Mate, your English is great. The only potential problem comes when you're talking about something that requires a higher degree of accuracy of language. But even in that, native English speakers can stumble. Semantic arguments have reigned supreme on here for the past 2 decades. So I wouldn't worry. I speak to non-native English speakers in my job every day and I'd argue your written English is on a par, or better than many of them. All it takes is a little understanding on the part of the reader, if ever I need clarity I ask for it. Same is true with you, if you write something in your second language that doesn't scan or doesn't make sense I'll ask you to clarify. Don't think I've needed to yet. -
Instead of a tiny car delivering the match ball to the centre spot, it should be nestled beside a dog in a buggy?

Do you like anybody? -
Wasn't too bad to be honest. We bought an antique ring with the size and shape sapphire she wanted, used some other stones from family jewellery. So really only paid Jeweller for the metal and the work. Even got mates rates from the Jeweller cos she'd done stuff for Mrs Fish and her family, but it was still a lot.
-
Similar to what I did, used a family ring to propose, then had a ring made to her taste.

Less of a Dick than expected? Gotta be the only time anyone's suggested that with regards to Gemmil.

I bet you don't trust NFC either.

Is that why you broke up?

A glory much of the North East can look forward to.

This is like a Bat Signal for me.

Yeah, the language barrier is a hurdle that is especially difficult to get over without stumbling. For example, you said you like Michael Owen, so I'm convinced something must have been lost in translation. -
That doesn't make sense, what with their incredible home support?

2 seasons away from the Champions League trough will have their owners twitchy as fuck. Klopp might also fancy a new challenge. I don't think enough has been made of their transfer business, for what it's worth. They've spent a ton of money on players and a lot have not come good. Keita e.g. -

Eddie has been a huge reason for the owners finding themselves 3-5 years ahead of schedule. Steering us from 19th, to 3rd in less than 2 seasons is unbelievable. Key to that has been the owners letting Howe (and Ashworth) to build the team they want. When January window rolled by we were 3rd and rather than dumping a few hundred million on big names and star power, we signed 3 kids with potential. One was £40m, sure, but we weren't influenced by our league position to go absolutely crazy. I'd imagine that Howe would have been central to those discussions. He's recently said we need 2 teams to compete on all fronts. Now, this could mean we keep some players like Murphy around for cup games, dead rubbers or whatever, or it could mean we go off and sign a fucking stack of new faces. Whatever happens, I trust this management group to get the big calls right. -
Yeah, our strength lies in working as a collective and not individual brilliance. Both of those players are amazing, but they'd both fall foul of the "No Dickheads" rule.

Ten Haag has improved them and after they strengthen in the window I think they'll be a different prospect. Also, we'll have a European competition to contend with. I dunno. I wouldn't be shocked to finish below them. -

Man Utd is a possibility, but Liverpool seem miles off sustaining a title challenge.
