I agree with the Harper comments. His communication is woeful, he sticks to his line too often and his insistance on trying to punch everything gets right on my tits. Whether he's nervous, he's past it or he's just on a bad run of form I don't know but if it wasn't for the fact our defence would shatter the confidence of the young'uns I think Krul and/or Forster may have had a bash by now. I became a member after I did my work experience there and I plan to get along, if I can get the time off work. I'd be more than happy to meet any Toontastic/NUSC lads in the flesh for the very first time. The FSF do a fucking brilliant job, the only problem is that they're not well known enough. Sky and the BBC just seem to ignore them which isn't a fault of their own as I know they put themselves about. In my opinion every fan should put their weight behind them because they're a fantastic bunch who do a thankless task.

The only thing I dislike more that UEFA and FIFA is this 'everyone hates England' conspiracy theory that gets peddled whenever something doesn't go the way of one of this nations teams. I don't for one minute think they sit around in Nyon from 9-5 discussing how to fuck us over. According to lads I know who've met Platini and are working closely with him to set up various fan organisations etc. the idea he's anti-English couldn't be further from the truth and the things that irritate the bods at the top of the game in Europe are the same things we moan about on this very board - overpaid, overhyped football players, money being pooled at the very top of the game and uncompetitive leagues.

I think the stadium puts me off going to watch Gateshead. I seen Southport last week at Blyth and they are utterly wank, I have no idea how they got in the play offs. Gateshead could well be in the Conference last week. A town the size of Gateshead pop. 160,000? should be able to comfortably sustain League football, but the residents will always support the toon. Mind if they do go up I hope they hump Luton, for all the shit we've had against them down the years. The IS is a completely wank stadium to watch football in. IIRC they're trying to get planning permission to build a new'un. Where? No idea. The location is being kept very quite by Graham Wood and co. but apparently it's going to be 6k capacity and ready for 2011/12 season.

I was only six or seven at the time and i'd just got into F1 but even I remember this and the magnitude of it. Senna was a name you instantly knew, even if you watched GP's or not. Very sad day

Also, Heed play late on Sunday afternoon against Southport in the second leg of their playoff semi so get your arses along there to support them after watching us get hammered. He's raced national hot rods all over the country on short oval tracks plus a few mile oval events too. I think the atmosphere would've been fantastic had they not layed flags, scarves and other such shite on anyway so it seemed pointless. Everyone knows the situation we're in and everyone knows that the fans needed to put in a performance last night (shame about the players). As has been said it probably helped a few of less hardcore fans make more noise than usual but when they wheeled Danby out for a rendition of 'Shearer Wonderland' I did cringe a bit. Also, when are they going to learn that giving us anything made out of paper and card is going to end in paper airplanes being thrown? Fair play to who ever it was in Level 7 who made and threw the one that missed a time wasting David James by only a foot or two

What match were you watching? Were you there? Butt was woeful.....passing poor, slow, miss timing tackles and movement none existent. Our worst player on the pitch by a country mile. I have to agree. Aside from one or two decent tackles he was a fucking liability once again.
