Maybe i'm just a cheap cunt but I never go out my way to tip and when I do I don't get my calculator and work it out. If i've had good service in a restaurant I hoy a few quid extra down, taxi and takeaway usually get it rounded up to the nearest quid if they're on time etc. As for tipping in bars? Nee chance.

Ant is seething tbh

Good point I think we would have been in the final at least. Fucking Celtic got there! That toon side would've ripped them a new arsehole, Larsson or not. I think in hindsight we were very unlucky, the only game we were shit in the second group phase was Barcelona at home. Fucking Bramble. Inter at home wasn't too good either, like That second group phase did give me one of my proudest moments as a Newcastle United supporter - watching my team go to the San Siro and outplay Inter Milan to the point where only dodgy refereeing and the most ridiculous play acting could save them. We were amazing for the full 90. Solano rattled the bar within 30 seconds if I remember rightly. There's no way they should've escaped with a 2-2 draw.

I still think our best chance of winning the UEFA Cup was 04/05 but it was spoilt by Souness. Our team was head and shoulders above the rest and only his management fucked us over. We nearly lost it against Herenveen when he dropped Robert to the bench, only for him to come on and save us. We murdered Olympiacos and had he not fucked Robert off altogether i'm certain we'd have had enough to see off Sporting once Dyer crocked himself.

£100 at the most really. Bit close to Christmas.

So we've got 12 interested parties already? Great stuff. That's knocked it down to £125.

Put me down.

Initially I was very sceptical, then I read a bit more and it began to sound quite doable. I still have one or two questions, hopefully they'll be answered today. Unfortunately i'm not currently in a position to invest, I simply don't have the cash or a pension scheme, but if this is still going when I do I can't see why not. It seems risk free - if NUST don't buy the club then you get your money back. I don't think the scheme will see us scale the heights that we were under Keegan and Bobby, but then I don't think even a cash rich billionaire could do that now - there's simply too much competition to get back into the top 4 at present. I do however think that this will give the club a stable platform to build from and it'll secure the future of the club when the Premier League bubble (presuming we get back there) begins to contract or even worse burst.

Oi, I was holding that fucker! Okay, I didn't have the foggiest what it said. Probably wouldn't have now knowing what I know now

I thought Carroll, apart from his goal, was pretty naff today.

Very harsh on Harewood, who I thought had a decent game. Jonas was immense until his injury, if he played like that all the time he'd have no trouble getting in the Argie squad, they simply couldn't get near him. A few minutes prior to his goal he made another mazy run into the box, beating four or five Peterborough players in the process but he made a hash of the finish. Simpson's goal was a bit of class too. He just floated the ball into the top corner. I heard some say it was a cross but it look deliberate. The stewards had clearly been told to act the cunt again, taking down banners and chucking people out. Spineless josbworth fuckers.

It's something that needs sorting like. I'm all for getting the kids involved but I genuinely think it fucks up the game. You can put your money on a duo of overexcited three year olds kicking two balls on the pitch just when we're in the middle of a great spell of pressure and slowing the whole thing down. We should bring back Chayton tbh.

Pud, maybe you can shed some light on this. I was wondering in what form the actual ownership would take were this whole thing to be successful? Would the club be looking to follow the Barca model of electing a president (Moat, Wylie type figure) for a fixed time and putting him in charge of the day to day running or an Ebbsfleet 'vote on the colour of the dressing room walls' type set up?

My brother thinsk i'm a fucking loon for going on about this every matchday.

NUFC not for sale + Hughton awarded 18 month deal
Ketsbaia replied to Dr Kenneth Noisewater's topic in Newcastle Forum
People seem to forget that holding the Hull game up as an example of protests = bad is hugely flawed, mainly because we were just as bad for the rest of the season without protests. There is no doubt in my mind that the upheaval caused by a very popular manager being forced out of the club and the lack of information being fed down to the playing staff from those above contributed much, much, much more to the loss than the fans being a bit annoyed. -

Spot on. http://timesonline.typepad.com/fanzine_fan...-protests-.html Now post that on there and stop them from bullying me. -
About as likely to ever happen as some of the policies spouted by your BNP mates. Tired and desperate Try coming up with more than two policies that could actually work then. The skewl one is a bit harsh as it would probably rule out the likes of Tom, J69, Happy Face, CT, Jawdee, Ketsbaia and Jonny, none of which have a full blown mackem accent, but I just don't like hearing Wearside accents at the match personally. The second one probably couldn't work, shame though. The rest could easily work, and at the end of the day the question was what would you try to implement if you were president. Hoo! Fuck off cuntface, I pronounce things proper I do.

To be fair, I think it's the ONLY way to ensure sustainability. I can see a lot of clubs getting into real trouble down the road (I realise we already are, but we're in a lot less debt than some). It would be great if we could be ahead of the curve and get our hands on the thing that ultimately, only the fans have the right to own. David Conn has written another fantastic article in the Grauniad today about how fucked Bolton and other clubs of their ilk are if they go down. It's bizarre to think that so many clubs are just one bad season away from total disaster - the top four live in fear of not making it into the Champions League and around 10 of the other clubs in the Premier League would 'do a Leeds' should they go down. There are very few that are secure. In a way we're fortunate Ashley is cash rich enough to keep us going. Shame he's a tight cunt who got us relegated.

Employ the mad Georgian I share my name with as manager.

The way Pud explains it it sounds like a piece of piss I'm interested despite the fact I don't have the money or a pension It does sound a bit fanciful on the face of it but i'll support it all the way. God knows it's preferable to what's going on at the club currently.
