Aside from the cheap labour bits the hardest it got was when one of his ex-school mates called him fat
-
It's on. Already had one of his school mates on saying he got fat and started charging them a quid each for some of his KFC bargain bucket
-
It's more important for us that Forest and WBA don't get him than we do. If Wigan keep up their current form he'll be on sale again in the summer
-
When the sale of him is going to stop crystal palace going bankrupt you can hardly blame them for protected him until he goes, dont think ashley will be willing to spend a few million to bring him here though. is he really that much better than beckford? From what I've seen of him (admittedly not much) he's a better all round player. I think you've also got to take into account that with Moses you'll be paying for oodles of potential, with Beckford you're paying for the finished article. And the finished article is not particularly good. He's good at League One level but you can't possibly say whether he'll be good enough any higher.

He managed to broker amazing deals for everyone but us so it wouldn't surprise me.

Not being able to pay your hosting company doesn't mean the domain is available (you can have the second without having the first). As you can see here, Portsmouth own the domain until 2011. It might be worth offering them a cheeky bid, mind. Edit: And as ewerk says, the website still seems to be working. Fucking hell. I wasn't being deadly serious
-
Apparently so. We put a bid in on Wednesday night, it was rejected and we spoke to them again last night.
-
I hope Chopra leathered the twat.
-
Hughton spoke very well of him in this mornings presser so I'd be surprised if we didn't go back with an improved bid. It's also nice to hear that he'd prefer a first team start to a being a reserve at a huge club.

What's this about Smith strangulating Beye?
Ketsbaia replied to Happy Face's topic in Newcastle Forum
I've heard that, but it was the Leyton Orient game and not last season. I quite like the fact Smith cared so much he nearly killed some cunt Saying that the same could be said of any tackle he makes. -

I he keeps picking the strong characters in their preferred positions (Smith, Nolan, etc.) to the detriment of the younger players like Guthrie. That doesn't bode well for next season when it's inevitable that we'll have to sign some 'egos' if we're to have much hope of avoiding relegation. I think that's a symptom of Hughton bringing democracy to the dressing room. The players have as much say as he does and while they may not pick the team I think they have Hughton's ear. I know it's won them over and helped morale over the summer but I want a despot as a manager, especially in the top flight.
-
He deserves a modicum of credit for getting on with things without really knowing what the future of the club is. He's made quite a few mistakes regarding team selection but I don't think he's completely clueless. At the end of the day I'm not convinced he'll ever be a top flight manager and if I had my way I wouldn't risk finding out if we go up next season.
-
Agree completely. And it's not Geordie fucking Boot Boys, which is a winner in my book.
-
I tell you what it is, if you were there last night a bit of NUFC would've died in your heart, was actually depressingly bad, this is our spare time and money being devoted to a product that is absolutely diabolical. My contempt for Ashley grew 20% last night. Don't head over to N-O Stevie (providing you're not banned ). The apologists are coming out the woodwork again just because we've signed Williamson and Routledge.

Is it just me or do Saturday 3 o'clock kick offs seem to attract a slightly better class of fan? I've been surrounded by arseholes almost every evening game we've had but on a Saturday there are never as many. Word for word what I said to me fatha. There was a lad (again a right charva. Never seen him at a match before or since.) who started jumping up and down singing "Your support is fucking shit!" to the Plymouth fans when we hosted them earlier in the season. Thankfully nee fucker joined in but he was going for a good 2/3 minutes on his lonesome
-
Worse than that and something which I've seen happen more and more often is charvers buying tickets, not going to their seats and then trying to squeeze in next to their mates who are inevitably bookended by other fans. It hasn't happened to me personally but I've seen it quite a few times in the rows infront. I suppose it's a problem with everyone standing that people can get away with it but you'd think these scrotes had an ounce of common sense. It's tight enough as it is.
-
To be fair I didn't celebrate that much because I wasn't sure what just happened It went in but only Carroll seemed to notice or care.
-
Same here, although I'm sick to the back teeth with "Your support is fucking shit"/"Who the fucking hell are you" etc. every 10 minutes and even before the match. 90% of people in Level 7 are embarrassing, I'd love to set fire to that stupid cunts illuminous wig by the way. There's no proper fans left hardly. We have a shit support without any question at all, especially on nights like last night. It was diabolical in the first half last night. Some fans just lose interest and patience if we haven't scored within 10 minutes. There's some tubby bald cunt sitting a few rows in front of me who squeals shoot if we get within 30 yards of the goal and then berates the players if they don't follow his orders but last night it started getting daft. Lovenkrands had half a dozen Palace players in between him and the goal and his back to it and he was bleating like he'd just missed a sitter. Epic twat that lad, even his young'un had his head in his hands. Also, without wanting to sound high and mighty I think it suffers too as it's became the place to be for charvers who attend one game every few months so when there is an atmos it's usually vitriolic. Earlier in the season it was much better.
