At the moment it's all rumour and speculation but after they appeared at Live 8 (something I denied would ever happen) i'm not ruling anything out just yet.

I know there's a few fellow PF fans on here so I thought i'd post these few snippits of news... A few of the more reliable Floyd sites are running this albeit as speculation. Pink Floyd's contribution? Rumour has it a new song. It would make sense since both Waters, Wright and Gilmour are in the middle of writing/recording new albums and they maye have a few ideas floating about but if this happens I will quite happily eat my hat. Contradicts the first article but Water's quotes at the end are by far the most intresting part. Only a few month ago he was reported as saying that heGilmour was jealous of him and he couldn't roll over again if he performed with the band. I've also heard that the organisers of the concert for Hurricane Katrina are working round the clock to get PF to perform although they'll be told to fuck off as Pink Floyd don't want to become a novelty act rolled out whenever people need to put their hand in their pockets and donate cash.

It's something like 3/5 years in a European country and they're no longer classed as foreign, they have European citizenship which would mean Ronaldinho, Eto'o and possibly Edmilson have EU citizenship.
-
You're aloud 3 non-EU players in your squad in La Liga. Eto'o has Spanish citizenship, i'm sure. Dunno about the other 4 though.

They're not looking, nevermind chomping!

Owen may have agreed a deal in principle with Liverpool but have Liverpool agreed one with Real? I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that this comes off but i'll not be suprised if it doesn't. My only worry is that if we get snubbed we'll not get another striker in before the deadline. -
Fuck off

Firstly i'll try and explain about the bands that I do 'get' yet others don't... System of a Down - It's very unfortunate that they have got lumped into this Nu-Metal scene dominated by the likes of Papa Roach, Korn etc. when they are at the completely different side of the spectrum but that is bound to happen because to the untrained listener they sound very similar. SOAD are the only really 'Nu-Metal' band I have kept close to my heart because they're lyrically they can be brilliant. As someone pointed out songs in the past like Aerials lack any sort of meaning or form. Recently though, they've became very politically driven and have started to pull away from the Nu-Metal stereotype; on their most recent album they're one or two slow songs with some brilliant lyrics that really ring true about modern day America (Lost in Hollywood and Sad Statue spring to mind). ***I may go on a bit of a rant now so be warned*** Pink Floyd - I'm at a point with Pink Floyd where I just can't understand how and why people don't see them as the best band that has ever walked this planet. I'm all for freedom of speech and people to have opinions but if you don't like them then sorry, you've no taste in music. I was fortunate enough to be able to sit down, get high and listen to Dark Side of the Moon all the way through and it really did blow me away. I know i'm not really doing anything to kill the myth about Pink Floyd just being music for stoners but if you actually sit down and listen to Dark Side of the Moon and concentrate solely on that for 40-50 minutes with or without drugs you'll be hard pushed to find an album that will move you so much. There is so much going on in Dark Side of the Moon that I still don't know what it all means, all I do know is that it's a fucking brilliant album. Admittedly it's not my favourite Pink Floyd album (That honour falls to The Wall. One and a half hours of hate filled rock and roll!) but it's the one that really gets most people into the Floyd. I urge everybody out there to give it a listen - 35 million people can't be wrong. Syd Barrett - He was fucked off his face during his three solo albums so they aren't going to be easy listening. Even the end of Bike on TPATGOD when he was with Pink Floyd really gives some insight into his mental state. Saying that, for a madman to create songs like Dark Globe and Dominoes shows his talent. And now for music I can't understand... Any sort of Dance - How can people 'listen' to this. I mean I can understand dancing to it when you're in a club but listen to it?
-
Take out Bat Out of Hell, throw in The Wall and you'd have possibly the most sensible resolution to a public vote ever. Nevermind = 'I hate myself, I want to die' music. I could abide Nirvana when I went through that whole depressed teenager phase but now I can't listen to them. If you want a good grunge band try Soundgarden.

To be fair that could've been any fat, Ginger git in Farah's for all Sky know. Judging by the picture they were sitting in bushes a few miles away with their zoom lenses on.
