I said this at the game but it does seem like since we've been away and come back that cheating, gamesmanship, timewasting has got much worse. It may well have done but its certainly magnified by the fact the championship has such a lower proportion of complete cocks and cheating pricks that we got used to people sometimes staying on their feet, getting up after a genuine clattering as if nothing happened and people getting on with the game. Not saying there wasn't any down there but by god there was alot less than the prem which is frankly a disgrace. I think I saw more in the game against Blackburn than I did throughout all of last season.

It looks brilliant. It's been mooted loads of times, hasn't it? I know Shepherd had plans in place to extend it before Ashley came in. At the moment I can't see a point in it. We'd need to see an upturn in crowds to what it was when Robson was here to justify the cost and that's discounting acquiring the Metro station etc. I can't see Shearer's being an issue because I imagine if it was to be built it would be similar in design to the Milburn/SJH stands and there'd be a route underneath. Even if we did have to get rid it wouldn't be a fucking loss now, would it?

Seems like the obvious choice however following the use of 442 he may just leave nolan in the middle, routledge for Barton and leave ranger upfront. Routledge is looking lost in this league and Rangers not ready. He could vukic to play in Bartons role and play smith upfront with Carol !!!!! I don't see a better option up top than Carroll and Nolan if Shola is injured. Guthrie is one of the best long passers we have which we may need for freekicks etc. Vuckic could be an option on the right but I reckon we'll see Routledge.
