No. Taiwan are and have always been a democracy, Vietnam are red. But Vietnam are fast becoming anti-Chinese; destruction of anything Chinese in Vietnam tells you that. Third will be the islands Japan control, and this is the most important. The commies want retribution for what happened in WW2. The biggest show for such little gain except the gloat. The US won't like it. The republicans will be re-selected for power. They'll take them on with the help of its asian allies. The result is either a Pacific controlled by China or a contained China dominated by the US and Japan, Status quo. But China have the edge given the relations with Russia strengthening.
