Educated in economics as I understand it. That's pretty much the crux of the problem facing Australia at the moment, the state of the economy. The way we're going about things we'll be a basket case like Spain. What has Shorten acheived apart from being a Union lackey? The fool has no policies or any idea. At first I thought he may have been frightened to put forward alternate policies but he isn't, he just hasn't got a clue. Shorten shouts from the terraces riding on the wave of discontent because people aren't getting something for nothing, as is the typical Australian way. Give me something for nothing. Thankfully the age of entitlement is coming to an end. So was Shorten on your shortlist for intelligent politicians?
-
Won't happen. Who's the alternative, Bill Shorten? Clown can't even speak properly. The bulk of the budget will get through, most Australians on edge about it will relax two years from now and they'll get another term.
-
Got an Austrian born Finance Minister too. And, yes, he does talk like Arnie.
-
He'd probably revel within the lower standard of play that is played over here, that I can agree with, but improve the side?!? I doubt that very much. Emile Heskey was a hinderance to Newcastle Jets, Shola will be the same for Sydney FC, only worse. To think the team will be built around this plonker. Fuck me
-
I've got to try and remain positive. He hasn't signed yet, only initial talks which hopefully break down...
-
He is better than the self-important and deranged megalomaniac that he has taken over in office. Although, like his daughters, I don't agree with many of his social views, his party that he represents and most of their policies are better than the alternative.
-
Funnily enough he's the lesser of the evils in Australian politics at the moment. You should see the alternatives in full flight. That sums up where the country is at, politically atm.
-
Just when I thought I'd seen the back of Shola for good, he is in talks with Sydney FC. Will he never go away?!?
-
Was it Shola? Probably was.
-
If this happens, I feel there is some hope.

What a wonderful life you live.

How about I be a bit more patronsing towards you. You are a fucking useless poster. You offer nothing. Nothing. You fall off the edge of the earth and people carry on. happy-go-lucky.
-
Motivation levels from the manager towards the players. Look by the sounds of things you are a young'n. You've been brought up playing Championship Manager and think bringing in the best talent equates to how well the team performs. Sorry to say that that isn't always the case. You'll experience it next season the hard way, and years thereafter.

The club is a privatised entity. We've seen how effective supporters are at voicing their displeasure. I don't think Ashley would have been shaking in his boots. Rather I think he would have had a cheeky grin. Getting rid of Pardew is not a possibility in the short to mid term. It just won't happen. Of course you'd know this more than most. And even if he does get the punt (possibly after relegation) who will he bring in? Another backward Brit. Let the good times roll.
-
Piss off you little leftie loon. Why buy Frenchies who don't understand Pardew? And why carry on when the British players in the squad are absolute rubbish. Do you see where this heading for the club? It is a combination of the two, they need to be complimented. Stick the xenophobia argument up your arse man.Pardew is the manager, so stick to what has been the lesser of the evils in his career.
-
Thankyou. Some sense in the madness.
-
A balance between good homegrown players and foreign players, you politically correct ninny. As it stands the homefrown players in the squad aren't up to it.
-
...Ferguson? They are all shit. Although I'd keep Mike Williamson, he's a decent squad player.
-
No but yes. The crux of the issue is correcting the imbalance that exists in the playing squad. It isn't just going to disappear. It needs correcting.
-
I think they'll respond more positively to Pardew. And I'll be surprised if Newcastlle Utd have Premiership status in 2015/16 unless Ashley really loosens the purse strings. So have a look at the playing squads that in are the Championship. All aredominated by Brits. Even QPR.
-
I'm suggesting that the Brits that are in the squad are shit. Have a good look at them and their abilities. They aren't even Championship standard. So shouldn't the club try and get a few decent ones in? If the club is relegated, which looks pretty odds on for me, it won't be the foreign legion who'll fight to get the club back into the top league. Now have a look at who is manager. What has he proven in his career? The bloke admitted hardship when Cabaye left. Results backed his defeatist approach up. Players like Cabaye don't grow on trees. For every Cabaye there are six Marveux's. Especially when that manager and his auxillery staff have no history of developing and nurturing talent. The club lacks a solid base of homegrown (British) players. Players who'll give 100% in every game that makes up for their lack of technical abilities. Players who will respect the traditions of the club. When that can be corrected, then bring in the technical foreign players to compliment the team. As I've said, the inbalance will see the club relegated. Once the club is relegated, unlike the last time there won't be an immediate bounce back. The players just aren't there to do it.

Wouldn't cost much. And I prefaced it by saying all convicted paedophiles, specifically not singling out one particular individual.
-
Manners, Marty, manners. Obviously not but the evidence is damning. Shall I re-phrase to appease; As with all convicted paedophiles, Harris, if convicted, should be chemical castrated and live the remainder of his life in a correctional complex, ie gaol.
