Yeah, all the shows I've mentioned except The Baldy Man get a re-run on UKTV over here. Shows like Are You Being Served, Some Mothers Do av em, Only Fools and Horses (which I used to watch as a youngun) and Allo Allo (which I used to watch too) get a run on that channel. I grew up on a lot of these shows man. My father has videos of Steptoe and Son and Benny Hill. My grandfather used to love The Bill, Rumpole of the Bailey and Yes Minister. All clearly outdated now but it runs/ran in the family. Bodyline - now there's something I've watched but only seen it once when I was a youngun.

I can't really say that it will for you tbf. It's been 6 or 7 years since I've seen it, and only seen each episode once so I'm a little hazy there. I do know it starts slow but heats up after the 3rd episode or so. It was the best of the Underbelly series for me, but more a documentary reeanactment series than anything else.

That one was good, only because that played out in public and was always on the news and it allowed me to join all the dots together. You should get your hands on Wentworth. A sort of a Prisoner CBH spinoff. Just finished the third season. Obviously much more socially relevant - the prisoners are a good mix of whites, aboriginals, asians, and, even muslim women with headscarves on (not main characters but extras in the background). Glad you didn't bring up Neighbours or Home and Away anyway.

Didn't the US assist members of IS in an attempt to dethrow Assad? I've seen a lot of what IS is about. Cutting the throats of adversaries with blunt knives is how they take care of "their problem". We have IS supporters here. I wouldn't have a problem seeing them exterminated, here and wherever they exist. Islamic extremism caused by the US is the biggest threat to Western democracy ironically. I agree that ridding Iraq of Saddam was a huge mistake too. I believed that in 2003. The US are almost self-sufficient with there energy needs now. No need to involve themselves other than drone strikes and covert operations. Fits the bill of the Democrats who are in power at the moment.
