... which in turn will cause the Kurds from Iraq to flood the area in support of their beseiged friends...

Why? What difference does it make to him? The club earns £60 million a year minimum by staying in the Premier League doesn't it? You lose Premier League status and you lose that guarantee, and then you suddenly realise that you don't have a squad capable of coming back up, and you lose confidence with all who have given you advice about football and you look to move on. Then he takes his business elsewhere, perhaps by becoming the sole owner of Glasgow Rangers because others have convinced him it is a two horse race in the Scottish League with a better than average chance of making Champions League if they can sort themselves out. Honestly, that is the best case scenario. Not pretty but unfortunately that's what it has gotten down to.

Kobani about to go down and a corrider about open for these rats to re-supply. Airstrikes are pointless without coordinated ground action. Should have just nuked the area from the start.

I think relegation would be for the best. Firstly it would put you sorry lot out of your collective misery, and secondly it may give Ashley a reason to sell after finally realising that what he has allowed to happen as owner will mean the club will not bounce back into the big time in the near future and the job that is required to do so is beyond him and the scope of his network of connections he has at his disposal. In essence cut off the funnel of capital that the club serves him as it stands and he'll lose interest.

Thanks for the heads up peeps. Got a free half dozen cases of it. It was either that or an Italian one. I'd back a German lager over an Italian one any day but just wanted to be sure.

To attract readers. Unfortunately it took that long to realise firstly that it was distasteful and secondly that it aided IS with what it is trying to achieve. Publicity and visual shock and awe.

Yes, but suggesting that he'd be an asset to a Liverpool, an Arsenal or a Man Utd team as some assert is a bit of a stretch and a figment of one's imagination tbf.

I actually agree with this, he has tried to become more technical with his analysis of the game. Unfortunately though he is still way off the mark from reality.

Drinking lots of beet juice and tumeric in warm milk, thanks.

Look, at least the option of nuking the caliphate is much more cost effective and requires a lot less organisation and buildup. Russia has no grounds to cry wolf about it either.

Fighting an abhorrent ideology. Those who are directing this are hopng the arabs do the dirty work on the ground so long as infrastructure is dismantled from the air. A war against ideology will not be won like that though, but it gains popularity in the West because it makes it look like something is being done about it. Nuking the place will do a better job and take a lot less effort imo. Avoids all the red tape bullshit.

How's your heart? Lowered your cholesterol levels now have we? I hope you have.

Islamic inspired killing I presume.

Yes, but only Jordan have formally confirmed their involvement. The other countries have been named by the US also involved in the air campaign.

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan have all been involved in airstrikes in Syria.

Bring him in. There's nobody else. The quality of football is the same.

Did you expect anything more? Pardew has a thick skin. Bums on seats every game. He rules. Nice one.

No, unless those non-muslims are attempting to disrupt and engage in hostilities here.
