China and the USSR have aided in NK's missile technology. http://nationalinterest.org/blog/the-buzz/north-korean-mystery-where-did-its-rockets-missiles-come-21202 Pakistan traded uranium enrichment technology in return for missile technology. https://www.armscontrol.org/act/2004_03/Pakistan

No, in the mid-term it is strictly regional. Firstly, the Chinese want America's influence in the Asia Pacific gone. Their aim long-term though, in decades to come, is to be the world's main power. They have a long way to go before they get there but it is there aim. The nations that make up South-East Asia aren't capable enough to counter-act against China. They are powerless. The only countries capable of standing up to China are of course America and Japan. India have the potential and are currently in a border standoff with China but they are realistically so disorganised and inefficient in their attempts to modernise.

Overconcerned?!? China first attempted to say their activities in the South China Sea were to help in maritime disasters. It was a guise for a military buildup which the UN denounced and which China laughed at. This is the first step in the Chinese Communist Party's efforts at regional control and ambitions of eventual hegemony. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2015/07/30/world/asia/what-china-has-been-building-in-the-south-china-sea.html https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jul/28/whats-behind-beijings-drive-control-south-china-sea-hainan The second step will be to tighten the noose on Taiwan and for it to come under the control of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) under the One China Policy. The third step will be to focus its efforts in the East and Japan and retake control of islands under Japanese administration, islands like Okinawa and the Senkakus. They base these claims on the fact that their history is thousands of years older so they must have been there first so they have right of way on them. I am not 'overconcerned', just more aware of what is going on and China's (CCP) intentions.

Of course it will not get better, but better never than now tbh, it is too late for any military intervention now. This isn't the Middle East, the adversaries and potential adversaries are much more dangerous. If America attacked NK China will not have any of it. Not only a refugee problem for them but China's sphere of influence would be compromised. China are already seething about SK's decision to use America's THAAD system which China says encroaches on its sovereignty. China will act similarly to what Russia has acted with Ukraine. The difference being China is building its military to match and eventually surpass Americas in time.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-05-20/what-can-north-korea-already-do-without-nuclear-weapons/8543532 All conjecture and hypotheticals really. In the advent of war it would depend on NK's strategy and how she would use her assets. An all out artillery barrage would destroy most of the city and its infastructure.
-
NK is chest beating. All they want to assure themselves of is their sovereignty. There is no war unless the US kicks it off. If it kicks off SK will turn against America in the end and blame them for being destroyed. It assists in China's long term strategy of regional dominance
-
Yeah, almost a stone throw. American military advisers admit that they can do little in the first 48 hours of a barrage. In that time Seoul would be flattened.
-
Intervention was an opportunity in the early to mid 90's under Clinton. His advisers opted against it instead opting for appeasement in the form of cool-water reactor technology I believe in return for some empty promises to discontinue their weapons program. That ship has sailed well and truly now. Nobody knows how advanced NK's weapons program is. They have demonstrated their capability to deliver warheads with their ICBM's but whether they have managed to miniaturise their nukes to fit onto their missiles is anyone's guess. That is the end goal in order to guarantee the sovereignty of their regime. The US's hands are tied on this. Attacking NK guarantees the destruction of Seoul and SK at a minimum. It is in the best interests for the US not to go down this path as it plays into China's hands by portraying America as the aggressor and SK would likely fall under China's sphere of influence as a result. China's ultimate goal is to expunge America from Asia and ultimately the Pacific to become the dominant power in the region.

Do you still believe the earth is flat?

Wolfy. I seriously thought you were a WUM, but you are ill. You have probably been told this before but to take so much time and effort to come up with your tin-foil hat theories... Nut job.

Well, no. He'd need to knock him out in the first five rounds which is unlikely but isn't impossible. Wouldn't surprise if he's winning the fight when they sit down after the 5th or 6th. Mayweather will own McGregor in the last 6 rounds.
-
The closer this fight gets, the more I have a feeling Conor could get him. Faster, stronger and timing is better. Conor is no Pikey.
-
Have been firing missiles towards Japan for two years. That isn't a concern, what is concerning is the level of sophistication of each missile launched. Japan could smash NK, Trump would love to smash NK, but NK has the upper hand in the fact it could smash SK and nobody could do anything about it.

Saw them in 2007. Yeah mostly their lyrics were dark, but now we know why now.

Autran and Viala. German efficiency.
-
Thing is McGregor is smart. He'll be defensive to conserve in rounds when he needs a second, third, fourth and fifth wind. Wouldn't surprise if McGregor wins the first three or four rounds but then he'll gets dominated after that if he doesn't knock Mayweather down. Mayweather doesn't have it in him to knock McGregor out. But he'll win by sheer weight of volume over six or seven rounds in the end.
-
Conor McGregor could retire after this fight. He won't though, it sounds like his allegiances lie with the UFC which is good. It is where he belongs.

Haven't hoyed since I was 16 tbh champ.
