Got the results back Saturday, she was clear boyfriend had it. Then got a message yesterday saying she had been in proximity to someone who had tested positive (you don't say) and to isolate for two weeks. Not from the date they requested tests, from the date got tests back, so a cool 3 weeks in total. Nice efficient system you got there

This kid in our Warehouse called in Monday morning to say her partner had woken up feeling shit and running a fever. She called NHS to arrange a test, got told they couldn't do it in person as showing symptoms. Received test Tuesday, did it, sent it back, still waiting for results, so still no idea if I have to test the rest of the staff or not. Its fucking pathetic.

Trump got more votes than last time. Increased his votes amongst the racists, the disaffected white poor and non-mexican Latinos. I've heard this argument about the right wing voter demographic dying out on both sides of the Atlantic for 40 years, yet to see it happen. With regards to gerrymandering each individual state legislature choosing their own rules and republucanshave done much better on the down ballot vote. Added to that Trump has been packing the courts with young highly partisan judges since the second he walked through the door. The senate has been nodding them through after blocking any Obama appointments for 6 years. I've said it before, the Republicans are playing a different game to the Democrats

The Republicans are playing a linger game here. They aren't expecting to get Trump to overturn the result, but they will use the chaos to further their ramp up their voter suppression and gerrymandering the districts. As long as they have control of the senate they can obstruct any democratic president, and then they will win easily in 2024. For now a Right wing Democrat president and control of the senate is their ideal outcome. Trump has done his job

If the Dems don't sweep this election, give Puerto Rico and Washington statehood and pack the Supreme Court, then USA election going forward will be about as fair as Russia's

They've still got three months after the election to force it through no matter what happens. The Supreme Court will have a 6-3 crazy right wing majority for the next generation. The only possible chance the Dems have got is if Biden wins and they flip the senate and have the guts to increase the number of judges on the Supreme Court.
