  1. That's believable and frankly horrifying

  3. I'm in the same boat. Until this second I always assumed knights ETA. Mrs,S just asked why I was laughing so much. Asked her to write the song title down. Oh yes KNIGHTS it is
  4. Guehi can fuck right off for me, the god bothering bigoted prick Right up until he signs when I will appreciate his brave principled stance
  5. Try a double decker on the southern coast you great nancy
  6. We watch The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds every Christmas Day. I will take no criticism or answer any questions on this family tradition

  11. https://bsky.app/profile/carolinelucas.bsky.social/post/3lcac4rljps2o Caroline Lucas ‪@carolinelucas.bsky.social‬ Oh come on Labour - so depressing to hear Pat McFadden say UK has no plans for a youth mobility scheme with the EU. We have schemes with NZ, Australia, Canada, Japan, Iceland, Uruguay & more - only reason not to have one with EU is fear of right wing press. Such cowardice @bbclaurak.bsky.social
  12. Europe is the only hope, better for them and better for us, its still a powerful trading block. Sadly it's not happening under this lot
  13. Politically what will be disastrous will be leaving people not feeling better of Majority of people support rejoining already
  14. I said it was glib. What's naive is thinking that anything other than radical action is going to prevent the downward path of the country. And France for all its problems has a retirement age of 62/64 and pays a more than 50% higher state pension
  15. See I think my problem with Srarmer is he isn't offering any solution. But I'll agree he will manage our decline more efficiently and with much less corruption And to be glib there is an easy solution, rejoin the single market.
  16. Again I don't have an agenda against the govt, Im desperate for them to succeed because the alternative is so much worse What I say on this message board makes fuck all difference to anyone. The press is going to press whatever he does, so he needs to do better, be braver and start doing stuff that will give him a chance at the next election.
  17. Say Nothing True story of two sisters who were in the IRA and the disappearing of a mother of 10 in the Troubles I thought it was superb, though I'm sure it's portrayal won't be uniformly popular The performance of the actors who played the two young sisters were stunning. The actor who played Gerry Adams was unrecognisable from dumb Marco in the Responder It seemed quite an honest account to me, I read somewhere it was shown as more of a class struggle than a religous one, not a point of view you see very often on British TV I followed it straight away with "I Dolours" that interviews one of the protagonists
  18. Yeah this is bollocks. It's not a right wing narrative to think he should stand up to the press. Its not a right wing narrative to think this along with leaving the 2 child cap, raising bus fares, and losing the winter fuel allowance is terrible politics. Even the stuff I agree with like the inheritance tax on farms they've framed in such an amateurish way its allowed the press to attack Its not a right wing narrative to call out his cowardice in refusing to be honest about Brexit. I'm desperate for Labour to succeed. We need him to be better, for them to have any chance of turning this shit show round. If they dont christ knows what will happen at the next election He's got a fucking massive majority, he needs to use it I just don't get this attitude that any criticism isn't allowed and is playing to a right-wing narrative, if anyone is enabling a right wing narrative its him
