  1. You know I don't think this new God Save the King thing is going to catch on. Just seems daft I know for a fact that even though I have sung the national anthem in the past, I am never singing God save the King
  2. I imagine the Fish as Roger Mellie in this situation
  3. Fuck that, somebody should start a petition. Not me though, can't be arsed
  4. I used to love the massive painted NEWCASTLE UNITED the hight and length of the corrugated back of the stand
  5. It's still a win win for Potter. He will be on a much bigger contract than now, and will still walk into any top 6 job no matter what. He's going to think he's good enough to succeed as well, you don't get to where he's got without ambition and self confidence
  6. In reality Potter would be nuts to turn it down. Established Champions League clubs don't come knocking for young English managers very often, and even if it's a disaster he won't be short of offers afterwards The only downside for him is he won't be local for a pint with Trophyshy and yours truly going forward
  7. Truss has been in charge for less than 24 hours and has already made 2 huge mistakes imo She has alienated more than half her own MPs by appointing only friends and supporters to cabinet, and ruled out the windfall tax. Can't predict the future, but she's toxic already
  8. Boo to this. I have a very soft spot for Brighton and Potter is doing an astonishing job there
  9. You're right actually, she is just saying what her paymasters are telling her to say. She's even thicker than I thought
  10. In fact i think this might end up being the equivalent of the poll tax. Terminally toxic for the Tories
  11. I agree with @Rayvin to some extent. Truss believes what she is saying and actually answered honestly. The problem for Truss is she is an idiot and has made herself a complete hostage to fortune. People are idiots, but this will help Labour in this instance because they can just hammer away excess profits every single time they are announced, and the ordinary man in the street will get the message
  12. I saw it live. It was fucking awesome. I'll check it out, but expecting great things
  13. I reckon Starmer will be terrified of being accused of bullying or mansplaining so will be even more aneamic than usual. Truss will obviously just be an embarrassment, though no doubt cheered to the rafters for this week at least. I will no doubt listen because I hate myself
  14. So first Truss vs Starmer PMQs today What a battle of the personality vacuums we have in store. It's going to more wooden than Prudhoe Timber
