I thought we had a great shape with Joelinton wide left Much as I like ASM I don't know if I would bring him straight back in. I don't think the has the ability or temperament to operate the high intensity press that we are using so succesfully He might be better as an impact sub after we have demoralised them

My match-going buddy used to live in East Boldon. He went to the same school. I've spent far too much time in the Grey Horse
-
I'll show my age, my mate was Wes Saunders
-
He was the top scorer in League2 so no mug. Pro footballers are unbelievable though. I used to know an unnamed centre-half who was considered an absolute carthorse when he played for Newcastle. He came and played for our 6 aside team once and he would genuinely have won playing by himself. We assumed he would be centrehalf, he said fuck that centre forward. It was something like 21-0 at half time and he'd got 19 of them

Wrexham Centre forward seems one if the good guys

Fair enough I'll stop. I didn't even disagree with his point, just the lolstats to back it up. Sorry @The Fish
-
Well if you can disallow Liv I can disregard ManC which makes it 40 per game with ASM in the side. Still think you are bending the stats to fit your narrative. More to the point you are basing this on the stats for ASM playing only 4 games, one of which was ManC
-
Keeping yhe stool he is standing on out of picture. Typical MSM tory bias
-
Ok @The Fish from those stats and correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not a stat guy like you. Almiron is the target of a pass 35.25 times a game with ASM, and 35.75 without. Doesn't really seem that different, so maybe you should calm your skin
-
2 things to say. Sample size and correlation vs causality.
-
So both Almiron's 2nd highest percentage in both those charts came when ASM was playing. Interesting
-

It's not contentious it's just completely unproven. Also completely ignores the areas where he does receive the ball, which might just impact on his goal threat If you are going to make spurious claims at least put the work in
-
It's surely one of the most important stats we can use in forming an opinion This claim is completely invalid as you completely ignore our possession percentage, amongst all the other variables. You are just cherry picking the stat the supports your position. I thought you were more rigorous than that. Sad!
-
When was the last time ASM scored 6 in 12 stat boy?
-
That's shows the opposite of what you think. Slag Labour off all you want but one light hearted comment against the worst lying disgraceful corrupt politician to ever rock up in parliament- instant suspension
-
ARE YOU LISTENING KIER STARMER?!

The BBC like the rest of the news media is a business looking for an audience. Nothing guarantees listeners/viewers/readers like Boris Johnson, so we are 100% guaranteed wall to wall Bring back Boris vox pops because whats what drives interaction. The impression that the nation wants him back is reinforced in a circle of bullshit
-
Johnson in power has the best chance of splitting the Tory party and ending them as a political party Also much less likely to hammer the austerity button like the rest of them I don't want any of seemingly "competetant" ones anywhere near power, idiots will seize any chance to give them credit they don't deserve
-
I mean I can't deny it. Johnson coming back would be awesome in its hilarity. Its the worst possible choice so it's got to be quite a good bet
