  1. Also the perennial with an N and an E and a WubbleU C...
  2. Definitely sung into the 80s and 90s as my little group used to replace United with "she likes it" and the claps with "up the bum" . Quality humour right there
  3. Dodgy businessmen in league with the Tories. In other news Brummies are boring
  4. Two Villa players already died, but bizarrely mo substitutes needed yet
  5. You're not wrong. Still 18 on the inside-just don't look in the mirror
  6. I've just watched this, what a boy he is. I'm an old bitter cynical man but I sat watching this with a goofy fanboy grin. What a turn around in this club to have a player like this
  7. News Agents is so fucking smug it makes my teeth bleed. Newscast mainlines even-handed BBC reasonableness, fuck off with that I want people judged and shamed. I quite like Alistair Campbell, but the love in with everybody's favourite Tory is nauseating Dunt is ok
  8. As a great man once said Urgh... Jesus Bruceball ≠ Howeball
  9. I do wonder if ASM will be as effective when we are pressing like the first half against Spurs. To me he is at his best moments are on the break, so much more suited to the second half against Spurs when we sat a bit deeper He was definitely our best attacking threat previoulsy, as he was our only outlet. We have much more of a team ethic and structure now, I'm yet to be convinced he can be as effective
  10. Not sure why everybody is so surprised by Braverman coming in. Sunak promised to double down on the Rwanda policy, he is a genuine long term Brexit nutter, he is as far right a PM as we have ever had, both economically and socially. Him and Braverman are in total lockstep
  11. I thought we had a great shape with Joelinton wide left Much as I like ASM I don't know if I would bring him straight back in. I don't think the has the ability or temperament to operate the high intensity press that we are using so succesfully He might be better as an impact sub after we have demoralised them
  12. My match-going buddy used to live in East Boldon. He went to the same school. I've spent far too much time in the Grey Horse
  13. I'll show my age, my mate was Wes Saunders
  14. He was the top scorer in League2 so no mug. Pro footballers are unbelievable though. I used to know an unnamed centre-half who was considered an absolute carthorse when he played for Newcastle. He came and played for our 6 aside team once and he would genuinely have won playing by himself. We assumed he would be centrehalf, he said fuck that centre forward. It was something like 21-0 at half time and he'd got 19 of them
  15. Wrexham Centre forward seems one if the good guys
  16. Fair enough I'll stop. I didn't even disagree with his point, just the lolstats to back it up. Sorry @The Fish
  17. Well if you can disallow Liv I can disregard ManC which makes it 40 per game with ASM in the side. Still think you are bending the stats to fit your narrative. More to the point you are basing this on the stats for ASM playing only 4 games, one of which was ManC
  18. Keeping yhe stool he is standing on out of picture. Typical MSM tory bias
  19. Ok @The Fish from those stats and correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not a stat guy like you. Almiron is the target of a pass 35.25 times a game with ASM, and 35.75 without. Doesn't really seem that different, so maybe you should calm your skin
  20. 2 things to say. Sample size and correlation vs causality.
  21. So both Almiron's 2nd highest percentage in both those charts came when ASM was playing. Interesting
