Bertrand Russell was an idiot who couldn't add up, spell or argue properly 65919 Canny with the pithy epithet though but

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts. Bertrand Russell British author, mathematician, & philosopher (1872 - 1970)

Pompey call press conference for 5pm
spongebob toonpants replied to Craig's topic in Newcastle Forum
Saw Portsmouth, Southampton and Redknap described yesterdayas "two bald men arguing over a comb". Thought it summed the situation perfectly -
You're on a wind-up, right? 65731 It just infuriates me the way he is treated as some sort of sage/prophet/saint.

I dunno why the Lennon Williams comparison is so bad They were both in boy bands and went solo. AT least Wiliams hasn't released anything as bland as Woman.

Imagine has to be the most overated song in history. Complete and utter sentimental pap. And this from a man who rented a whole floor of the Dakota building for his wifes fur coats. Utter hypocrite. His veneration makes me puke. Wrote a couple of canny pop songs, then again so has Robbie Williiams

spongebob toonpants replied to Zvindon Magyar's topic in Newcastle Forum
I cant say i feel sorry for them, but I am not really gaining any enjoyment from their utter uselessness -

So...........................where do you stand on Craig Bellamy?

I still think sacking him is a bad idea. I havent got the time or the energy to argue about it though

totally agree, and I can't for the life of me see how anyone could be against Keegan coming back to Newcastle. For my money, despite what they say now, if it happened they and the whole city would be jumping. I don't think he has ever been the same since he left Newcastle, he fits at Newcastle and even if he didnt' repeat what happened the first time, he would lift everyone and the 2005-06 version is still light years better than the cretin we have in now He left a good squad of players at man city. He put into place the foundation which has lifted Fulham from the old 3rd division to where they are now. Every club he has been at has benefitted hugely from him. 64277 I totally agree with leazes and htl I cant see it happening bit I would luv it if he came back.

I think you are wrong about liver donations falling Renton, I am sure Iread somewhere last week that donations increased after the publicity surrounding Bests liver transpalnt I also find it questionable that people who dont know him feeel the need to slag him whereas it would appear that everyone who knew/ met him hasnt hasd a bad word to say about him
-
It seems obvious to an old timer like me, speaking with the benefit of having never seen him play, or in fact heart of him before we signed him, and gaining my total knowledge of him through the forum that he is without any doubt whatsoever an inside-left. sorted
-
A tribute he would have appreciated tbh
-
The press pretty much have gone overboard dont you think, pretty much as they have done for all of his adult life. The Clough comment is impressively stupid tbh
