I used to hate him, but have come round to thinking he is a comedy genius. His stand-up show is unbeleivably funny.

Are you possessed by the spirit of Wullie all of a sudden 157352 No, Wullie has already stated that he will once again be devastated by a signing like this. I think he would be a great signing, but IF this is complete bollocks then the vague press comment is intentionally misleading in order to string the fans along, which IMO is out of order. Particularly in light of the speed with which they've denied other transfer links in recent weeks. 157358 You sound like I commend your ambition in attempting to sign Englands newly retired captain, but if you are merely string the fans along in a cheap attempt to bolster season ticket sales I would have to say OI SHEPHERD NO........

Commercially it would be a great signing, the financial benefits of having Beckham would more than compensate his wage bill. It would raise the profile of the club abroad and could help persuade possible replacements for Owen we mean business On the playing side Beckham was top of the assists league in Spain last season, I think we can safely say he would improve the team. It would be magnificent if we could pull this off, I would be very pleasantly surprised.

i don't. He's a counter productive nitwit 157041 9 goals in 32 games last season is productive enough in my book 157044 so 9 goals would be enough to keep someone who is an exemplar of the blight on the game? if we're going by that logic you'd have Robert back, hell, he scored more and provided more assists than any left winger in that last two decades! 157116 If Robert showed the application and effort that Ronaldo shows he would have been one of the best players in the world

I'd like to think I had a hand in it tbh. It's funny how quickly he explodes when you resort to a bit of low-brow banter. 157049 He really didnt understand your post did he. I think he genuinly thought you were accusing him. Mind you, no smoke without fire
