1. Alex = impeccable taste. Paperclip People - Throw. Legendary Carl Craig track. I think you would be right on the inspiration too. 182669 So my Undertones reference is ignored and Alex gets all the plaudits. gah
2. Not what David Byrne would say about that album. Stop Making sense is the definitive live album and is also the definitive live concert video. 182581 Are you claiming that is the defintive live album or the defintive live album by the Talking Heads. If its the latter fair enough but the former would be a bit of a stretch
3. Me dad uses that. Very old skool. 182473 Its a Bobby Thompson... Na yer reet I'll have a cake
4. You should have a listen to "stop making sense" - its the most accessible. I just dont get the meringue reference like. 182454 Would you like a cream cake or a meringue? I was no great fan of the Talking Heads but I did lke More Songs about Chocolate and Girls by the Undertones
5. What time do you reckon the board will crash under the influx of fevered internet junkies seeking news on takeover bids and incoming centre forwards. I predict 12:26
6. One Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Al-Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Almarhum Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien theres only one Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Al-Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Almarhum Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien
7. And how many posters on here do you reckon are getting paid millions for the privilege? 182092 RobW
8. Boo....and I thought I had mrs spongebobs birthday sorted
9. 25% nice bullshit statistc. There are some idiots who drive bikes, there a lot fucking more who drive cars lets ban all of them aswell. 181791 You think the risk of death, or causing death, in a car is the same as on a bike? Would the figure of a 25% lifetime risk really surprise you? Considering I have known 3 people independently killed on bikes and none in a car it wouldn't surprise me. Btw, I should add that wasn't being entirely serious about banning all motorbikes but it'd be nice to ban some of the idiots you see on country roads. 181798 I think the risk of causing death in a car is shitload higher than with a bike. The figure of 25% is plainly ridiculous, you might just know a load of idiots.
10. 25% nice bullshit statistc. There are some idiots who drive bikes, there a lot fucking more who drive cars lets ban all of them aswell.
11. is there a particular kind of shite you'd rather see posted? 181239 I actually meant shite like this But on reflection my post was equally without merit and I wish I hadnt bothered
12. ah, to be honest I thought th £7.50 was a standard price and if that was the case I wouldn't watch anything at that cinema other than real blockbusters in the LoTR trilogy/Superman Returns mould, certainly not for a film that I knew was going to be bollocks. 181249 In keeping with my normal graciousness I again accepy your apology
13. Oceans Eleven. The original is garbage. 181154 I prefer the 2003 Italian Job to the original version
14. Well that was excellent entertainment, I enjoyed it room start to finish. There were some genuinely funny one liners "great! snakes on crack" and "show me the silvereware..Sporks?" The audience warmed up after a slow start, the highspot being a chant of "Keenan Keenan" And note to the Fish. I have a confession over the seat prices. They have two rows of "luxury seats" with extra leg room and comfier seats for which you pay a premium, included in the £7.50. Money I consider well spent. Anyway much more enjoyable for the right reasons than I expected.
15. could somebody pm me a link for commentary please
16. If repitition is the mother of all cop-outs then stop going on about the price. It's his bloody choice if he wants to pay £7.50 to go and see a film man 180917 Agreed, do we have to approve all our social plans with Fish first now? 180967 I could have saved up that £7.50 and put it towards some windows I suppose
17. Zany and I read this And I thought that sounds like a good night out, I think I will give it a bash. And hey £7.50 lets go bat shit crazy and live a little 180884 apart from the bits I've highlighted the jist seems to be "Go with a massive group of maters and take the piss out of something stupid." why not go with a massive group of mates and enjoy something worthwhile? I suppose the real thing that I baulk at, is the price, £7.50 is a ridiculous fee, I'd understand if this piss poor film was demanding a tiny fee, but to charg ea blockbuster fee for a piece of (no matter how self deprecating)shot offends me. why not just get a bunch of mates round to your house when it comes out on DVD and make a big night out of it? 180890
18. So I read this and I read this And I thought that sounds like a good night out, I think I will give it a bash. And hey £7.50 lets go bat shit crazy and live a little
