One thing you need to try and learn to do is put people on a hand, or work out the range of hands people are playing. A trick someone taught me was to do a commentary during the early game. So when people raise or limp in early on you go xxxx limps in and folds to a raise or xxxx raises early position with a pair of eights, and it helps to imprint the likely hands people have for later in the game. You really want to identify the players who are likely to fold to try and steal their blinds, and those who will call loosely to try and pay off your good hands.
-
You shoud definately play two. Start one up and then start the other after the first three levels. The early game is all about folding anythng apart from major hands, and then you will have one game coming up to the interesting part all the time

A big advantage of playing more tables is you make the decision on the hand, and then move on to the next table. This means you miss the agonising wait for the cards to arrive and so you miss the bad beats happening, which helps with the tilt control. It does mean you have to set aside some study time to go through your hand histories to try and work out what happened in some games, and spot any mistakes as you dont realise at the time. I beleive that is what work is for

No I start them all up and open another one as soon as I get knocked out. It does take a bit of getting used to but I am trying to be more disciplined as I had got into the habit of playing two and browsing forums and watching tv at the sme time. Playing four means I concentrate more on the tables.

I play 4 at a time and start another up as soon as I get knocked out of one.

I played 24 last night one first, five thirds and a beautiful 18 OTM. Stupid bloody game. I listened to disc 1 btw. Really good sound advice, but be a bit careful on applying too much of it to the short stack SNG game. A lot of the suited connectors and post flop stuff will just get you into trouble in SNGs because if it doesnt work you are left short stacked straight away. I do like his stuff on aggression and position

no offence taken Just comes to my head and gets posted, clears the clutter. Quality control? Who are you to decide if they have not all been quality. Everyone gets some form of response so someone was interested. It keeps the activity rate up on the forum during off peak times. If you do not want to read don't I'll not be offended. If it is a problem I'm sure the mods would mention it and I would reduce the posts. I enjoy them, especially after you said about your employees all thinking you are working hard.

Better place with him; I suffer from this same lack of quality control in real life. I am not knocking him, I even saw him play

Look the way we handle our finances is this: We have to both agree that we're gonna buy something or it doesn't get bought. There are exceptions to this but are limited by price, hence I've lost out on my season ticket, a pc and haven't been on a sunshine holiday for 3 years. We do our fortnightly shop at Asda and come back with just a 4 pack of beans FFS! This post makes baby jesus cry

The Keegan Era: Will we ever see it's like again?
spongebob toonpants replied to indigo's topic in Newcastle Forum
Stopped reading right there tbh. Too many long words? Too many stupid sentiments -
If you weren't so sure, you'd swear these things happen more than they're supposed to, wouldn't you? Cheers for the tip, I have Stars installed but haven't used it much, Full Tilt may be my favourite layout, and eventually I'd like to get a read on where the worst players play, on average. Party has the most players and is widely thought to have the worst players, but that is ofset by some degree by having the largest amount of multi tabling pros. There are plenty of bad players at all of the sites at the low limits though.
-
You have to, I had an exact replica of that situation yesterday, mine was Sevens full of Kings, I think. But if you look at the play after the match and know you did the right thing, that's all that counts. I assume this was 10+1 SnGs? What's the step up like? I'll play you soon btw, you'll get your comeuppance with the rest of them. These things happen so often it will make your eyes bleed. It can be incredibly frustrating especially when you bubble out in fourth. BTW Oba dont play the 5 + 1s on Party the 20% rake is a joke. Pokerstars has a better range of low buy ins 3+.40, 6+ .5 etc

The Keegan Era: Will we ever see it's like again?
spongebob toonpants replied to indigo's topic in Newcastle Forum
The thing that made the Keegan era special was the unconditional beleif and support that Keegan enjoyed. For a while we were United in the beleif that we would win every game and anything was possible. I remember reading somewhere that the nearest it came to any dissent or complaint was a slightly disaproving silence 10 minutes into the second half of a game against Everton. We will never have that uncynical optomism again -

As was said before, Senna told the FIA either they swap the grid over so that Pole Position was on the clean side of the track or he would make sure he went into the first corner first whether Prost was there or not. Can't say he didn't stick to his word. Incidentally my feelings about Senna pretty much matched those I have of Schumacher up until about 1992 when I saw what he did with an absolute pile of shit which was the McLaren. You couldn't help but have respect for the man for what he achieved against the dominating Williams'... I am the same with Schumacher, I hated him until Damon Hill retired, but as he took Ferrarri back to the head of the field I completely changed my opinion and now he is the reason I still watch F1. I dont think there has been a better driver, and next year will be poorer without him. Alonso Raikinen and the rest just bore me tbh. Mind you Lewis Hamilton- now there is a driver

So Leazes, where do you stand on the democratically elected members of Sinn Fein Gerry Banks and Martin McGuiness.
-
I think Leazes is showing disrespect for the ability of our brave and dedicated policemen, and doesnt beleive in the British sense of fair play, innocent til proven guilty and doesnt respect the law of the land and he should be deported
