You are not wrong, when I see Bellamy in a Liverpool shirt I consider myself lucky if I dont actually self-combust in pure rage and twisted hatred
-
I think Gerard is a very good player, but I dont think you can call him world class until he is done it regularly at interntional level.
-
I agree....apart from Gerrard
-
I just think the players arent very good, certainly nowhere near the hype. He got enough out of them to get to the 1/4 finals, on last nights performance that seems quite an acheivement

After sticking up for Roeder Sven and even Souness I am releived I have finally found a manager to criticize.
-
You started it Anyway Walcott aside at least Sven knew how to navigate a qualifying group, and being old enough to have lived through England regularly failing to qualify for major tournaments maybe I have a different perspective on the prospective ability of the national team
-
Having said that, you thought taking Theo Walcott was a good idea Did you see him on Tueasday night? But Sven had no intention of using him, therefore it was a complete waste of time (and a daft idea) to take him. And he wasn't ready to go tbh. Would have much preferred to have Walcott come on than Defoe last night

It amused me during the world cup the received wisdom that it was only Sven and David Beckham holding us back from winning the World Cup. Now we have an average team and a poor manager, if Rooney doesnt hit form at the right time we will struggle to qualify

Ginola: 8th best premiership foreigner
spongebob toonpants replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
This shouldnt even be up for debate, Robert comes nowhere near Ginola as a footballer. The idea that Robert is better is laughable -

Somebody posted on either here or the original site about going to a Wham gig at Brixton and being fucked sensless by the girl they'd went with after she'd been worked into a sexual frenzy by the gig. Was that you or is this just a coincidence? You are not wrong, the atmosphere could have turned a nun rabid. When i said you could smell the excitement I wasnt exagerating

multi tabling helps keep me focussed. If I dont play enough tables I get distracted and watch tv surf the net etc, I try to get the balance between enough action to keep me concentrated on the games, but not too much that I miss spotting loose/weak players or time out

There will be one cunt their who dresses and thinks he's Pete Docherty, he'll be on stage singing with the band. Nah he doesnt now who he is, where he is or what he's doing

I bought it but I dont really use it tbh. I just use sng tracker for results and power tools for analysis. I havent had the time or energy to get pokertracker sorted out. If I move up so I play the same people a lot I would probably start using it with the heads up display, at the moment I cant be bothered

It is magnificent isnt it. Sometimes you can get into a position where you just push every hand, it drives people crazy To be honest, I couldn't believe it at first when it's doing the calculations and I'm thinking how can it possibly be a +EV move to push with that hand, but when you work through it all, it makes sense - bit of a eureka moment. The bloke is obviously a bit of a genius, but he really explains the concepts well in the tutorials too. I am right in thinking that there are currently only two tutorials available, aren't I? Or am I missing out on some? Yeah he has been promising the new ones for ages, but to be fair playing with the stack sizes and calling ranges is the way forward, once you get afeel for how situations affect EV you are golden. Helps with the tilt monstter as well, if you now you made the right move

Thats when it started, now I have a Kylie Minogue shrine, Ive seen the Pet shop boys , Girls Aloud Steps, Ive even moved to Brighton

And by the way Gemmil, dont raise half your stack with KQo when you have 9BB, either shove it in or fold. That plank with the big stack was always gonna call that bet, you left yourself nowhere to go. If you push and he calls you get your money in with the best of it, fair enough. The way you played it you were pot comitted anyway and ended up putting your money in behind I would have most likely just folded and let the big stack bully the rest of them

Back in the eighties I used to knock around with some girl that worked for polydor records. We used to take music very seriously, favourites at the time your Jesus and Mary Chain, Smiths Ramones Orange Juice and the like. This one night she rings me up and tells me to meet her outside the Brixton Acadamy, doesnt give any more details. I turn up at the appointed time and there are hundreds of teenage girls queuing round the theatre. All in a rare state of excitement. I meet up and she gives me a pass and we walk past the throng and in. Once we are in she lets me know what is going on. At this point in pop history Wham were as big as it gets. The next day they were playing the first of three nights of "The Final Day" at Wembley, their last gigs before splitting up amidst much hysteria and media frenzy. Obviously of no interest to me though, Or so I thought. Tonight Wham were playing a secret warm up gig, for the first 800 members of the fan club and a few record company and press types, and me. I was fairly unimpressed until the screaming started, Ive never heard anything like it. And this is before the lights even went down By the time they actually started the place was in fucking uproar, knickers and bras were flying, you could genuinley smell the excitement and the show they put on was incredible. They worked that room like nothing I have ever seen. And the bar was empty and it was free. So not the Clash, not James Brown, not the New York Dolls or the Ramones or Oasis,or the Smiths the best concert I ever saw was Wham, and it was by a fucking mile

Dorty yanks. Anyone who invests in a company which openly admits it is on shaky legal ground deserves to lose their money IMO. One paragraph in 65 pages tbh. Prospectuses always have to say what possible problems there might be, nobody thought this would happen
