  1. I despise John Terry. I hope he gets sent home, even if it weakens the team. To me he epitomises everything wrong with English football. Arrogant ignorant selfish twat.
  2. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/ju...money-from-poor Cutting the money to the poorest to help the richest set up their own schools. Its not taking long for the evil cunts to show their true colours
  3. Some really good points in this article World Cup 2010: if Fabio Capello can't coach England to glory could anyone? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...uld-anyone.html
  4. On the bright side I will be a work when the match against Slovenia is on
  5. Agree completely - Rooney is supposed to be one of the best players in the world. We knew before the tournament that to have any chance of doing well he had to play well, and he has been worse than useless

  9. Personally I draw a distinction between the British Army and vicious terrorist organisations like the Provisional IRA or UDA. You can't expect standards of behaviour from the latter because they're illegal criminal organisations. You can and should expect it from a sovereign army on peacekeeping duties amongst its own citizens. Unless of course the British Army is viewed as a terrorist organisation in its own right, which Irish rebels have said for years. I dont get how so many are missing this point.
  10. I know my stuff the same old teams, Brazil, Argentina, Germany and Italy are the teams to beat. Despite the usual hype [or hope] around England, these teams are always the teams that are there at the death. Has any team won 2 consecutive World Cups, in recent memory anyway ? As for Spain, only 2 countries have won the European Championship and World Cup ie Germany 1972/74, and more recently France. Aye, me and you have seen enough World Cups to know whats coming. I always enjoy the ride though
  11. My tips to win it are up. Come on the Azzuri
  12. Well without getting to side tracked down this route..Sir Alan Budd, all over the news today, economist appointed by George Osbourne to give economic forecasts. I appreciate economists dont make decisions in government and I dont recall saying they did. Your last point with regard to objective advice is entirely wrong, for The Tories The whole reason the office for budgetary control was set up was to prevent chancellors (such as Brown and Darling) fiddling the growth figures. Labour fiddling the figures eh?? I know who I think is lying at the moment http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/st...st_downgra.html Im not sure what your point is? I have said and it is a fact aswell that all parties had plans to reduce the debt by Big Cuts in public spending and tax rises. Sorry if Im missing the point of your post . Ill make it simple for you. You accused Labour of fiddling the figures. I then quoted the very economist you mentioned who confirmed that they werent.
  13. WASHINGTON — The United States has discovered nearly $1 trillion in untapped mineral deposits in Afghanistan, far beyond any previously known reserves and enough to fundamentally alter the Afghan economy and perhaps the Afghan war itself, according to senior American government officials. The previously unknown deposits — including huge veins of iron, copper, cobalt, gold and critical industrial metals like lithium — are so big and include so many minerals that are essential to modern industry that Afghanistan could eventually be transformed into one of the most important mining centers in the world, the United States officials believe. An internal Pentagon memo, for example, states that Afghanistan could become the “Saudi Arabia of lithium,” a key raw material in the manufacture of batteries for laptops and BlackBerrys. full article here http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/14/world/as...als.html?emc=na
