  1. One of the sides held 50k or something ridiculous like that
  2. Aye 83 - I saw both Charlton games that season, but I cant remember if he was playing or not. I do remember the home game was the coldest and wettest i've ever been at the match.
  3. I think £ 90 k a week is a deciding factor......... As ever the Buffet Car buffoon with his classic comments. Rob you're always up to speed on things. Cardiff are in major debt troubles, do you seriously think they could commit £5m to wages for one year I'm struggling to think of a bigger coup by a non top flight club for a player since we signed Kevin Keegan in 1982. Charlton signing Allen Simonsen from Barcelona when in the old 2nd division
  4. 3 / 5 at the back might suit us away from home too. Would certainly suit Coloccini. Collocini in front of back four instead of Smith maybe. He couldnt do a worse job
  5. Aye you're not wrong. Definitely got a hint of Solano about it (i.e. wanting to be near his kids). Be interesting to see if he sticks at it or pisses off again quickly like Nobby did? Using that as a cover more like. Wanting to get pissed with his mates is more like it. Wants to be the Big I Am iyam
  6. Alex Spam Alert! Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: selegna sol Posts: 37,816 Spiderman was good no doubt about, watch him turn to shit after this great debut
  7. I bet that worked out well for him
  8. I thought they were average at best by their standards. Average is the wrong way to describe the performance -it was more like they were playing an exhibition. They looked like they could step it up 2 or 3 gears at any point. Its probably a good job we didnt score-they might have got angry.
  9. I thought Barton, while still being average at best, was head and shoulders above Smith and Nolan. He has some semblance of mobility and put in a couple of decent corners.
  10. We got away with it last night. We were passed of the park. If Manu had got their scoring boots on it could have been an absolute humiliation. For some reason though I found it less depressing to watch than some of the gutless displays under Souness/Roeder/Allardyce. Possibly because I have no expectations apart from regular thrashings this season. Spirit seems good which is something, Carrol looked a handful. I thought Guti was better than Routledge, neither can produce a final ball but Jonas seemed to want the ball a bit more. Smith and Nolan and Perch have nothing to offer at this level -Perch is looking a disaster
  11. Sir Alex-Wayne-Paul fap fap fap Fuck off you basketball headed scottish shitehawk
  12. jfc - surely you can do better than this you're making cockhead and kevin look like good posters
  13. I would imagine his current desire to join us will take something of a knock after he witnesses the pasting at the hands of MAnU that I expect on Monday.
  14. The people who will definitely benefit are; * People in debt * People with low/no disposable income It's seems much more logical to give people their earnings and let them choose how to spend it. Although I think you might be slightly confused on what the Tories stand for, they want a smaller public sector and larger private sector - so they want to collect less tax. I've always viewed the two parties as; Tories = lower taxes for less services Labour = higher taxes for better services. I would love to know the thinking behind that. It seems to be about as wrong as its possible to be Lower income tax will increase disposable income. People in debt can therefore choose to pay off their debt. You really don't understand this tax thing do you Please let me know what field you are earning your 70k in. I am thinking of a career change
  15. Leeds, Portsmouth, Rangers,- you're right - ambition is a great thing you're happy going back to the Westwood and McKeag days then and wish the Hall/Shepherd days had not happened. ? This constant references to Leeds don't half make me laugh. Would any of their supporters say they would rather have stayed solvent and been a yo-yo club than reach the semi finals of the European Cup ? At the end of the day, its all about having memories to look back on in football and take success when it is there. Who the fuck wants to remember decades of nothing but underachievement, like you appear to wish. You don't half spout some shite sometimes Rob, and you should know better. I'd rather be Portsmouth - at least they got to win the cup aye. Show me a pompey supporter who said when they won the cup "we shouldn't be enjoying this lads because in a few years time we will be in the shit". Laughable. I normally ignore you for the most part because you're a obnoxious tosser who's stuck in the past but that post is just shit enough to draw me out. You're basically saying we should be like an idiot with a credit card. 4 owners in a year No he's not

  18. My thoughts exactly. Trouble with Bellamy is still the same as its always been, he has the talent to play for anybody, but hasnt got the temperament to go with it. His career could have been so much more
  19. Its a bit like the way I consider Kings Cross Station to be part of Newcastle
  20. thats a fucking shocking tackle like-
  21. Ive just been in a taxi where the driver was listening to TalkSport. According to the halfwits that were presenting ONiell is one his way to Newcastle.
  22. Some bastard ruined it for my by telling me . Was well raging cause it looked good erm.... thought it was excellent
