I'm a bit late to the party on this, sadly my finger is not exactly on the pulse anymore. Chez mentioned the new one a couple of weeks ago. Mentions of the Ramones and Missy Elliot peaked my interest, and I've been listening to nowt else since. Its been a while since I have found anything new that has caught my imagination in this way. Anybody got any recommendations for similar stuff I can check out. Obviously as this bloke has slipped under my radar for the best part of a decade it doesn't have to be brand new, my knowledge extends as far as 2manydjs, gohome and no further

I would have voted LIb second at the election, and I would be even more pissed off now.
-
I would have almost definitely gone for PR in the past, and in conscience depending how it was structured should go for it in the future. I have to confess though my current feelings would be to vote against anything Nick Clegg recommended

The Oldham by-election result has definitely confirmed one thing for me. I will definitely be voting no in the AV referendum. By my reading of the situation I would then have to order these remaining candidates in order. Lib Dems Conservatives UKIP: BNP: Green Party: Monster Raving Loony Party: English Democrats: Pirate Party: Bus Pass Elvis Party I can imagine going Green as a second choice if I was forced to choose, but beyond that (Elvis apart) I would find it impossible to do. Combine that with a desire to see Nick Clegg have his shameful post election oportunism punished as fully as possible, I am hoping to see a overwhelming no vote, and the LibDems and the coalition implode

Washington aye named after the one at your manor. Orlando? Thought that was Mexico. Boston, aye I've played on their pitch not sure there's a yank one, Memphis? Thought that was a bike? Edit Aye Atlanta City, aye I've put Atlantic City above. Your a bad liar Stevie I'm telling you. Tell me why I should know Boston, or why I should know anything about America. I could name you 30 major cities in major European countries, never had a thirst for knowledge for America. Plastic bullies who I hope fail in most things they do. Some of it is planned ignorance granted, but their dismissiveness of the world's most famous country fucks me right off so I'm every bit as dismissive as them mugs. I know Clearwater because my uncle has a holiday home there, been asked if I want to go about 20 times over the last 15 years, always say no because the only place I'd ever go to in America is Vegas. "Have a nice day". Oh dear. Because its a major reference point in popular culture. Seen The Departed? Heard of the Boston Red Sox? No to both. Can't be that impressive, it wasn't one of the host cities of the World Cup. I know Parky, is it the sort of place you could have two weeks? Think 10 days is max. Eating giant burgers at 4 in the moring having been on free booze all afternoon and night has a lifecycle. Helipcopter ride into the desert is nice. Love the vibe there, especially if you're up and you get a lot of freebies and service is second to none imo. The ex-Mrs P loved blackjack so there was no tension. Yep, about fifty years And Stevie - New Orleans, Nashville, Indianapolis, Denver

Stuff from the People tends to have an element of truth. That cunt Rob Beasley is one of Ashleys cronies -
Seen enough in the Wham and Liv games to give Pards a chance. Won't really see his imprint on the side for a few months yet. Agree, I've been relieved by the team spirit being seemingly unaffected by Pardews introduction so far

Seen JB twice as well, great show even if he was pretty much on his way out at that stage. I saw him back in the early eighties at the Hammersmith Odeon as it was then- it was awesome. He was cracking on a bit but still had all the moves The entrance on to the stage took about 45 minutes - the whole crows was in an utter frenzy. He also did the full Please Please Please routine with the collapsing being helped of stage malarky- top entertainment

I had a period of riding my motorbike home from the pub after work no matter how pissed I was many years ago. As Rob says views were different then - they were wrong, but they were different. Saw the error of my ways a lonh long time ago

The pub were raging at Pardoo for not starting Ranger when it came on SSN before. A bit of hard work against Liverpool seems to have won the fans over, but he must be gash in training to be almost as low in the pecking order as Xisco. His miss would back up that view.. Think he's a canny impact sub as well which might have had an effect on Pardew's thinking, i.e. someone to bring on to change the game if needs be. One thing I've noticed about Ranger though is when he has his back to goal, he's almost too concerned with fighting with the CB and ignoring the ball being played into him. Not sure if that makes sense but it happened a few times when he came on. Think that's true to an extent, but also think the stick he has had on this thread is ridiculous (not from you personally). Ranger's introduction last night coincided with the whole team falling into disarray, with Nolan and Barton apparently at each others throats. I don't think Ranger was responsible for this though, but as a result he was much more isolated upfront than Best had been. His miss was awful, but then again I have seen worse from the likes of Les Ferdinand, so it might just have been one of those things. As it was, Colo and Harper (neither who have been mentioned n this thread as far as I can tell) were utterly immense in stopping West Ham getting a consolation goal. Best's performance last night was the most surreal thing I have seen at SJP this season, and that's saying something. It wasn't just his goals, he seemed to be the whole package. That said, it was one game. He'll need to do this a few times to convince me. Because of his age, and if he can improve his attitude, my money is on Ranger ultimately being the superior player to Best. After all, I thought Caroll was dogshit a couple of years ago and looked what happened there - so far Ranger has shown me more talent than Carroll did before our relegation. I missed that, what happened?
