Carroll wouldn't have been playing anyway Its the negative affect it's had on the whole team though. Best, Shola, Ranger previous only had to up their game for a few weeks until Carroll return. Its a different thing altogether the be the main source of goals. People underestimate that and Carroll shouldered it very well. With Carroll we had optimism and a player who genuinely put fear into the opposition because he was a real threat.
