1. Keith Gillespie's first international goal for over 11 years. Feck me, that's crap!
2. now matey....I'm prepared to admit if I have made assumptions, with good reason, they may indeed be unfounded, see the above post !! Time will tell because we don't know though for sure do we. I don't know what assumptions about Bellamy you mean though ? Still think he is out of order though insinuating the spirit at Newcastle under Sir Bobby was "not very good", when Souness actual results on the pitch are nowhere near as good as Sir Bobs..not to mention the direct insult to him .... 44029 Never said you made the assumptions mate, just that whenever anyone else makes them about Bellamy, you dismiss them as being rubbish and it's all Souness's fault. 44074 Dunno Sima..Bellamy was a gobshite..but so is Roy Keane, and Wayne Rooney, to name 2, and while I know as a player he can't compare with those you know what I mean... Alex Ferguson doesn't sell them, he manages and gets the best out of them ... 44081 *cough* Jaap Stam *cough*
3. I think the "non world-class" player is Joe Cole.
4. Classic moment where the "St James' Hamstring" curse hit Saunders and it showed Shearer in fits of laughter.
5. I know people want this outlawed, but just this once....
6. Hi, I went by the name of hedg
7. Was a few months before the Dunn one I think.
8. Didn't say he's any good, but well known in European football.
9. I actually believe the club is a more attractive proposition for top foreign coaches now, than it was 15 months ago. Coaches looking in this time last year would have seen one or two good players, and a bunch of English youngsters they hadn't heard of. Now though, they see Boumsong, Babayaro, Luque, Emre, Parker, Solano & Owen, who are well-known in European football.
10. Ravenelli 2001-2 season??? *EDIT* Just remembered he saved a penalty from David Dunn at the start of the 2003-4 season, but he scored from the rebound. Can't remember one since.
11. Half-time, Elliott the scorer, but Shay has saved a penalty (great save), and they'd easily be 3 or 4 down by now if it hadn't been for Given.
12. He's spent £40m+, and has managed to take Liverpool below a Rooney-less Everton, and now into a 5th-8th place team. 43124 How can they be below the "Scouse Mackems" when Everton are bottom of the league? 43794 Sorry, I meant last season.
13. Exactly. Chopra's injured, Owen is always one sprint away from pinging his hamstring, and Shearer's knees & back are at breaking point. Sure, let go our only striker who you could probably expect 40 games a season from.
14. I think it's real. Love the "who's Tony Adams?"
15. This is fecking hillarious. http://media.putfile.com/THEGARYNEVILLECONVERSATION
16. Well I haven't got a fecking clue how this league system works. There was a group of 4 teams, in one group (who played each other twice), and a group of 14 in the other (who played each other once). The top two in those two groups (I finished 3rd), went into a Semi Final for something (don't know what), and I'm in a separate league. Any help?!
17. 47 La Liga goals in 99 appearances. He can be as over-rated as he likes, I would pay £20m+ plus for him still.
18. Just started a new game as Santo Angelo of the Brazilian National Third Division Group Stages. Running the Brazilian, Spanish & English Leagues.
19. Name = Chris Billany Age = 21 Height = 197cm Position = GK Number = 1
20. Or go berserk, and go back with the £24m for Torres!
21. I think Cisse is a fantastic player. But Anelka is proven class at this level and showed in the summer he'd be willing to come to us.
22. That's the difference Kenny couldn't recognise a player, hence he bought Maric! Keegan could but his tactical ineptness meant he didn't know how to use a player of this limitless ability. (Tino not Maric obviously) 43314 Funny I always thought Maric was signed by Gullit while Solano was spotted by Dalglish ...who also signed the likes of Guivarse, Andersson and Paul Dalglish... 43372 As well as Given, Dabizas, Speed & Hamann.
23. let me remind you, they did not lose out on Owen. They didnt want him as he does not fit the system Rafa prefers. 43203 Nope, they wanted him alright. 43205 They tried flogging Cisse to us so they could afford the Owen fee. It would be hillarious if they ended up as strike-partners here in 3 months time.
24. He's spent £40m+, and has managed to take Liverpool below a Rooney-less Everton, and now into a 5th-8th place team.
