1. The bouncers didn't shag her though. 54086 Sorry, perhaps I should have asked if they were all sacked for not asking her for ID.
2. Wasn't she the daughter of one of Rix's friends? Ex-friend now I presume. 54081 Couldn't tell you. I just know he met her in a nightclub.
3. Not making any excuses, but he met the 15 year-old girl in a nightclub. Maybe he didn't know she wasn't 18? Do the bouncers get locked up too???
4. That's like saying Scott Parker's a poor man's Lee Clark.
5. I think that's down to their style of defending though. They're very negative and defend as deep as possible as they know they'll be under the cosh a lot no matter what system they play. That's why they went out and signed de Zeeuw & Henchoz. Two very average centre-backs, but who are excellent in the air, so when balls do fly into their box, 9 times out of 10, they'll get rid of it. Put either of them at Arsenal, Man U, etc. and they'd be found out no problem.
6. I liked the bit about the skeletor Shearer better tbh.
7. Harsh, but I can remember him at the Charity Shield match when we got thumped off Man U, and the camera showed him there, to which Tyler said something along the lines of, "Tony Blair, life-long Manchester United supporter of course". I mean, how dare someone really famous support little old us instead of "United".
8. Could definitely see a player plus cash deal. The also have the same agent (Willie MacKay...also Robert's & Distin's agent), so he might be able to do something. Talking of Faye, did Souness buy the wrong one? That one at Bolton looks a much much better player.
9. Skysports.com are saying we're lining up a bid for him in the transfer window. What a signing he'd be...although where'd we fit him in alongside Parker & Emre? 3 in the middle with Luque & Solano/Dyer just off Owen?
10. Nightmare job for any manager, but Hearts are in a much stronger position with Romanov, than without him.
11. I can remember us being crap at Man City (newly promoted), crap at home to Leeds (who finished bottom 6), and around about the same time that year as this year, we were scraping 2-1s & 1-0s against the likes of Charlton, Southampton & WBA, as well as getting trounced 5-2 at Blackburn, 6-3 at Old Trafford and 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
12. To be honest, all Hearts need is a good coach, Rix is that. They don't need a manager as such as Romanov buys the players and alledgedly picks the team as well.
13. It reminds me exactly of last year, so much so I'm getting deja vu. There is no evidence we can beat anyone half decent. I expect a pitiful performance against Chelsea. 53366 Massive difference. The current side is 10x better than last seasons. I'd say this season reminds me more of the 2002-3 season (sh*t start after 6 games, started getting results without playing well up until December, before kicking-on)
14. ...or they could blow all their European rivals out of the water and be top at Christmas.
15. That is a match that last season or the season before even, we'd have lost 1-0 or drew 0-0. Just 3 points off the top 3 now, joint 2nd with Chelsea in the recent form guide, one of the best defensive records in the country, yet still people post negative stuff. Get a grip.
16. He must dread Christmas & Birthday's in the family.
17. Incidentally, if I'm wrong I blame ISS on the Nintendo64 52356 Very reliable source, the people who transferred Hatem Trabelsi to Arsenal, when he still plays for Ajax. 52360 I can remember one Championship Manager (93 or 94), had Brad Friedel at Newcastle. Also, you had to get a work-permit if you wanted to sign David Platt or Paul Gascoigne.
18. Worst shift I've ever done was 7 in the morning until 10.30 at night...cooking all day. I was only meant to be in 7 until 3, but the chef who was due in to do the 3 til 10 shift phoned in sick, so I had to cover his shift. Literally spent the whole 15+ hours cooking breakfasts, pizzas, burgers, pastas, salads, etc.
19. It was started by Zola Budd tbh 51981
20. PR disaster of Newcastle United proportions of they broadcast it. Even more so if they took the wise precaution of pulling it initially. 51741 Do you think Alex Ferguson will take leaf out of Graeme Souness' book of management techniques and kick him out ....... 51914 Like Jaap Stam?
21. Last one year maybe. But the season before, from October to March was his best consistent form for Newcastle, and he was scoring and setting-up goals for fun. Without him that year, we'd have been nowhere near 5th. Funny how the following season when we didn't see much of Robert, we actually were nowhere near 5th spot.
