Why were they singing that? 55243 Something to do with them being gutted Darius didn't win Pop Idol? 55250 Was Sven at their match like? 55261 Don't think so. But you get fans singing all the time "xxxxx for England". Nice little variation tbh. -

Should have picked Darius. (should have picked Darius) as the Man City fans were singing on Saturday. -
That, plus they're not allowed to have played in a World Cup I think.

http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_1606734.html Then when the Russians are running riot, we could send over the German football hooligans to get rid of them, then when the Germans are running amock, we could send over our boys to get rid of them. Hang on, it's the 1940s all over again.

Is that something to do with the war? 54985 1937, 1973, and whatever year it was that Alan Sunderland won the FA Cup with Arsenal. 55058 Nah, it's Sunderland AFC and it's nowt to do with the war. To give you a clue, it's calendar years rather than seasons. 1937 & 73 are right, obvioulsy. 55146 Ahhh. What year was it they were in the old Third Division? I'd assume they'd started in the FA Cup First Round so may have been unbeaten from November to January or whatever upto the start of the FA Cup Third Round?

Didn't Sit Bobby try and sign him during his first season? Christ, imagine him & Marcelino. -
Fucking hell Hearts fans must be crying into their whiskey tonight. 54198 Did you see that old bloke on Sky Sports News emptying a bag of Russian hats with the Hearts badge on the ground, then kicking them around angrily. What I ask him is, would he sooner Romanov went back to Lithuania, taking away all the players he'd took with him, and they had John Robertson in charge, with millions of pounds worth of debt & Tynecastle looking likely to become a housing estate which was looking likely this time last year?
