1. Another thing I've just spotted is that even though we've lost more games away from home this season than any other Premier League year, we've won the same amount of away games (5) in 17 games, than what we'd managed in 38 away games in the previous two seasons.
2. I'd like to see what impact a new manager has on him.
3. Just copy Alan Oliver's, but take one or two off Elliott & Shearer whatever they may be.
4. What gets me is how the first couple of months of the season is bollocks. I wonder what people would have been saying had we been 10 games into the season, 4th top in the league and Ameobi had scored 5 in those 10 games. When Man City did a similar thing in August-October, the media were creaming themselves over Andy Cole & Stuart Pearce, but just because ours happens mid-season, nowt is said.

6. Yep. Would f*cking love it if that happened.
7. And he's also now scored the same as Shearer in 4 fewer games.
8. Just comparing Ameobi's goalscoring record this season with the main contenders for the England squad (not including Rooney & Owen). Darren Bent = 31 games, 16 goals. (0.52 goals per game) James Beattie = 28 games, 10 goals. (0.35 goals per game) Shola Ameobi = 26 games, 7 goals. (0.27 goals per game) Jermain Defoe = 31 games, 8 goals. (0.26 goals per game) Peter Crouch = 30 games, 6 goals. (0.2 goals per game)
9. "I said Blair's call, not bare all".
10. They've named a list of 33 already, which will eventually be cut down to 23 for the finals...Luque hasn't made the list.
11. I'd take any of that list bar Curbishley & Graham.
12. Many were desperate to sign the latter before he went to Chelscum. 117293 I know. I remember when people were pretty pissed off when we didn't go for Glen Johnson either. We can thank Roman for a few things...
13. Not seen him play, and while everyone will point out van Nistelrooy, I'll give you Tomasson & Kezman.
14. I bet every single Newcastle fan thought that when it was on its way to Maccarone, I know I did. 116690 And I also bet every single Basle fan is going through how we felt this time last year in Lisbon.
15. I've got a feeling they'll be on a massive high on Sunday tbh.
16. Well I still can't see them beating Sevilla. That last minute definitely reminded me of Bellamy in Feyenoord though.
17. Naaaah. I'd still take Schalke or Sevilla to do them.
18. And to think last winter people were against us signing Yakubu from Pompey, and in the summer people didn't want Viduka here. Idiots.
19. Looks like a One-Day County Cricket shirt...rank.
20. How's that? I'm pretty sure Keegan gave Cole a few England caps even though he sold him as a club manager.
