  1. Yeah, 10 minutes where you'd have thought a local lad on his home debut would have been bursting a gut to impress. He didn't. He jogged around for 10 minutes.
  2. How's it "fact"?! I saw him mope around for 10 minutes but didn't close down, didn't win one ball which came upto him. People are quick enough to write-off big money signings within 10-15 minutes so why can't I say Carroll will be lucky to make it as a League Two striker after the same time?
  3. To me Huntington just looks a pretty boy. Always gets outmuscled, doesn't put his body on the line, distribution is sh*t. Even at 19, he should have those 3 basic things.
  4. As for the Luque factor, what have Pattison & O'Brien done the last 3 games that Luque didn't? And Carroll looked the spitting double of him, just jogging around looking like he was closing the defenders down with minimal effort for 10 minutes. I'm now round to the fact he's been sh*t for us and will be a failure, but people who'd still sooner have Pattison, O'Brien or Carroll ahead of him want to f*cking look at themselves tbh.
  5. Not if you read what most people tell you on here.
  6. Will get slated, but thank f*ck Bramble & Babayaro are nearly back. Crap, but still better than Ramage & Huntington.
  7. Wasn't that Fulham? The Fulham 4-1 was when Crossley had a blinder, although I think the Villa match was 0-3. That's the one. The Fulham one was just a freak result. We battered them. The Villa one is what I meant.
  8. As with the Villa 0-3 from 2 years ago, this for me is the reality check.
  9. I can never remember them playing as poorly as that. Solano & Huntington have done a job, but the fact we've been scoring goals has hidden the fact we've been leaking them for fun.
  10. But for some reason people would still sooner them ahead of those two.
  11. This game reminds me of the Villa 4-1 from 2 years ago but without the fisty cuffs. Fans were starting to get behind the manager at the time after an impressive run (think it was 1 defeat in 12 or something before that Villa match), then bang, reality check.
  12. And over a run of 10-15 games, no way in the f*ck are Solano & Huntington better full-backs than Carr & Babayaro. 16 goals conceded in our last 6 games. What a joke.
  13. Given - 5 Solano - 3 Huntington - 3 Taylor - 3 Ramage - 2 Milner - 4 Pattison - 3 (O'Brien - 3) Dyer - 5 Butt - 4 Sibierski - 4 Martins - 4
  14. Hopefully this will see an end to the cretins who say Ramage is a good defender. What a sticky pile of wanksplat he is.
  15. Actually, it's scary to think that 2 of that side that finished mid-table in the old-old Second Division were regulars in our squad last season, and the 'keeper has played for us this year too.
  16. 11.05.91 Hull h 1-2 0-1 17,940 46 14 17 15 49 56 59 Srnicek; Watson S, Elliott(Watson J); O’Brien, Scott, Kristensen; Clark, Peacock, Quinn, Hunt(Makel), Brock HC: Wilson; Jacobs, Thompson, Wilcox, Mail, Allison(Buckley), Warren, Calvert, Walmsley(Smith), Hunter, Jenkinson G: Clark, (Walmsley, Thompson)
  17. I posted that before I saw that he played for Boro clue. http://www.toonstats.homestead.com/decades.html Using that though, there's no trace of Windass scoring against us!
  18. When did he score against us at St James' Park in 1991?
  19. Don Goodman definitely scored against us that season for WBA and was born in Leeds...but at The Hawthorns.
  20. Hopefully Jade fucking Goody will fall back into obscurity now never to be seen again.
  21. I preferred this post when it was in the Tottenham thread. (nope not John Barnes) I played against the country that capped me in 1996.
  22. I made my international debut in the Maracana in 1984.
