u vile cunt hes dead and from the bottom RIP with no sarcasm or anything even if he was a mackam hes died show sum bloody respect u tit So because somebody dies, I should show them respect? R.I.P. Hitler, then. My deepest sympathy for Stalin, as well. Whilst we're at it, I'll give a shout out for all the terrorist bombers. I won't give my respect purely for somebody because they've died. That would be completely moronic, "u tit". I am just in the first page and have not read it all but you are a cock of the highest order and it fills me with satisfaction to think that you have a shitty job with no future and no enjoyment at all. And a personal life to match that of the sorriest smack head around. me or offshore the fucking knob head

Ireland's Robbie Keane has added extra spice to Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Czech Republic by suggesting that opposition goalkeeper Petr Cech is not the best in the world. The Irish Republic's most prolific goalscorer says that although Cech may be one of the best, the title of top goalkeeper belongs to Shay Given. "Cech is one of the best goalkeepers in the world," said Keane. "But we are quite lucky in that we have the best in Shay Given. "Cech is different class but Shay Given is for me one of the best goalkeepers I have ever seen." Given had kept three consecutive clean sheets for his country before conceding two against Slovakia at the weekend and will have to be in good form again on Wednesday, if Ireland are to make up ground in Group D.

It does look like he's going, although not until the Jan window, obviously. Probably no bad thing (assuming we can get a decent amount back for him) as it doesn't look like Allardyce either especially rates him or thinks he'll fit in with how he wants us to play. who could replace him tho...if were gonna get rid of him witch obvious that we will, we need a top class creative midfielder to come and and replace him but then who would you drop in midfield

Sam Allardyce has moved to play down speculation over the immediate future of Newcastle midfielder Emre. The Turkey international, currently on Euro 2008 duty with his country, was linked with a return to former club Galatasary at the weekend. But the Magpies boss knows Emre will remain at St James' Park - at least until January. Allardyce told the club's official website: "It's not an issue at the moment. "There's no chance of him going back to Turkey because the transfer window is shut, so he can't go anywhere." Emre has made just one appearance under Allardyce, in the 2-0 Carling Cup victory over Barnsley

EMRE has admitted he wants to quit Newcastle for Galatasaray in January – as his old club confirmed they want him back. The Turk is fit again after injury but is pessimistic about his prospects of breaking into Sam Allardyce’s first team at St James’s Park. And so Emre has now openly declared his wish to return to Istanbul, with Galatasaray revealing they are keen to re-sign him, six years after he left for Inter Milan. Emre made his first appearance under Allardyce in Newcastle’s Carling Cup win over Barnsley 11 days ago but did not even feature on the bench for the Premiership clash with Wigan last weekend. And both he and Galatasaray have used his presence in Turkey on international duty in recent days to make it clear they want a reunion. “I want to go back to Galatasaray, and they want me,” said Emre. And Gala’s vice-president Adnan Polat said in response: “This is a transfer we can do in January.” Emre, who turned 27 on Friday, was rated as Turkish football’s best-ever young player when he rose through the ranks at Galatasaray. But he is clearly below Nicky Butt, Geremi and Alan Smith in Allardyce’s midfield pecking order, with summer signing Joey Barton on his way back from injury. However, Allardyce will look to at recoup a large part, if not all, of the £3.8 million that Graeme Souness paid Inter for Emre in the summer of 2005. Meanwhile, Steven Taylor’s contract row looks set to rumble on for at least the best part of another week. Although Newcastle have decided to reopen contract talks with the defender, his father and agent is on holiday abroad. United officials were unhappy at Alf Taylor’s decision to go public on his son’s rejection of an initial contract offer described as “completely inadequate”. And even though they have decided to review their offer, it will have to be upped by more than 60 per cent to satisfy Taylor’s wish for parity with England Under-21 colleague James Milner’s new £30,000-a-week deal.

NEWCASTLE new boy Habib Beye last night revealed how a freak training-ground accident rescued United’s long-running bid to land him . . . After he had turned the Toon down back in June. Beye finally joined the Magpies from Marseille minutes before the transfer window closed at midnight on Friday. And the Sunday Sun can reveal that the Senegal international only put pen to paper after agreeing to compromise on his demand for a four-year contract by signing a three-year deal. But Beye has also now confirmed he rebuffed a previous approach from Newcastle – and might have snubbed them again until a twist of fate changed his mind. For he claims that seeing Marseille goalkeeper and close friend Cedric Carrasso rupture an Achilles tendon 10 days ago convinced him to take up the challenge of a move to Tyneside. “I had the chance to join Newcastle more than a month before the start of the new season,” said Beye. “I refused it because I wanted to play in the Champions League with Marseille and finish the final year of contract while keeping alive the possibility of prolonging my stay at ‘L’OM’. “The offer from Newcastle, a big club, came again though, and it was a good financial proposal — it would be a lie to hide that fact. “But seeing the injury to Cedric Carrasso was what really made me reflect. “Like him, I am 29, and he was not injured because of a tackle, but because of what can happen to the human body as time goes by. “If that kind of mishap had happened to me in the situation I was in at Marseille with the end of my contract, it would have made things very complicated. “You have to think of these things and it’s for that reason that I accepted the challenge of moving to Newcastle.” United’s interest in Beye — exclusively revealed by the Sunday Sun way back on June 10 — was maintained despite his unimpressive start to the season in France which saw him targeted by a faction of Marseille fans. But the right-back added: “I thank the people at the club and the supporters, even if some of them attacked me lately. I would like to have taken those fans with me. “I will keep my house in Marseille and go to live there after I retire.”

Steve McClaren believes Michael Owen will supply the goals to secure victory for England against Israel in Saturday's crucial Euro 2008 qualifier. McClaren's side trail Israel by three points in Group E, making a victory essential, but the England boss is sure Owen will fire the goals for success at Wembley. Owen, who has recovered from his recent 18-month injury woes and has scored two in two games for Newcastle, has a reputation for performing well in important games for his country and McClaren is confident the striker will again rise to the occasion. "Michael has looked sharper with every day," said McClaren. "Never mind the work he does outside the box and who he needs to play with, the main thing Michael brings us is goals at vital times. "There have been so many times when we have not looked like scoring and all of a sudden he has glanced one in at the near post or nicked one off his shin. "He is always on the spot and what we must do is get the ball into areas where Michael is at his best."

Newcastle United defender David Rozehnal has revealed that he would like to settle down at St James' Park. The Czech Republic international joined The Magpies in the summer, from Paris Saint Germain for an initial £2.9million. The 27-year-old has looked assured in his four Premier League start, and has helped Sam Allardyce's side remain unbeaten. Rozehnal spent two seasons at both of his previous clubs, but it now appears he is ready to commit his future after penning a four-year deal on Tyneside. "I would not be against a longer stay, with my wife we would like to settle down finally," Rozehnal explained in Sport. "So far I have been telling myself that I was doing gradual steps to better clubs and better competitions. "But now I am playing in the world's best league and I would not mind if I stayed there for a longer time. "The Premier League has fantastic commitment, fighting spirit and high tempo."

Sam Allardyce will look to overturn his own personal hoodoo when Newcastle face Arsenal in the Carling Cup third round. Newcastle have not won a major trophy in 39 years and the League Cup is a real target for Allardyce - who reached the final with Bolton in 2004, only to lose to The Magpies' North East rivals Middlesbrough. If Allardyce wants to taste victory in the Carling Cup, though, he must win at Arsenal - something he has never done as a manager. "We were looking for a bit of luck with the draw, but it has got to be played to an end, and we will see how we go," bemoaned the Newcastle chief. "I have never won at Arsenal - this would be the first time. It came down to the 93rd minute one year when Gilberto scored an equaliser. "Hopefully, I can go one better this time." Allardyce is buoyed by the fact that Arsenal, as is now tradition, will field a youthful side, although he insists that he will not be fielding his first team either. "He will play his squad players - he always starts with them - and we will rotate our squad accordingly, just the same," he said. "The Carling Cup tie drops in a difficult week for us because we play on the Sunday, then we are going to have to play them on the Tuesday night and then Saturday morning against Manchester City. "Two out of those three games are away from home, so that's going to be a difficult week."

Sam Allardyce believes Newcastle have done a great piece of business in landing Habib Beye and Abdoulaye Faye for a combined £4million. The former Bolton boss signed the pair on deadline day to bolster The Magpies' squad before the close of the transfer window. Allardyce feels Faye's versatility will come in handy, while former Marseille captain Beye is a natural born winner. "It's extremely great value for money for the pair of them," he told the Evening Chronicle. "In today's over-inflated market, all our business has been excellent. "Faye's going to give us something that we need in the team, both as a centre-half and as a central midfield player. "I've been chasing Beye - who was captain of Marseille - for a long, long time, and finally I've got him. "He's just a pure athlete. There's a lot of ability and desire and determination as a human being - not just as a footballer - to be successful." The only transfer Allardyce would rather not have done was to allow Nolberto Solano to join West Ham to be nearer his family. "I'm reasonably satisfied at what we have been able to do in the transfer market in the summer," he continued. "The only disappointing one for me was Nobby, but in the end it was the right thing to do. "He needed to be with his wife and kids, who have moved to London. West Ham are a big club as well."
