  1. Given is our current hero, but like Skol said I could see Enrique, Rozehnal, Cacapa and Barton becoming future heros. Not so much Cacapa, just because hes on the wrong side of 30 so i don't he will be here long enough to gain hero/legend status.
  2. That's basically speculation, nothing more. He's had an injury that Ruud Van Nistelrooy got before he joined Man Utd. He's had an injury that Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo have come out of. I really don't get the 'overall game' comment, he's never had one as far as I can see. Money is irrevelevant, I'd be amazed if Owen was sold for pure money reasons. And as for getting Anelka, he signed a contract with Bolton at the start of the season, so it's quite clear Allardyce didn't want him. The only reason Owen might leave is if Allardyce actually really doesn't like him, which unless they are both total liars, is just rubbish. When did Rooney do his cruciate.... You tell me then we both know
  3. I didn't hear anyone boo him Even tho £15m would be a good price to sell him for, Anelka would be available for max £13m so we could make a bit of profit.
  4. Steven Taylor has voiced his 100 per cent commitment to Newcastle United. In September the promising defender rejected a contract offer to extend his stay on Tyneside. The 21-year-old has established himself as a defensive lynchpin at St James' Park but the offer he received from the club has not sat well with his father, and advisor, Alf. Taylor's contractual situation has been up in the air for several months and the player's camp are hoping for an improved offer reflecting the defender's development into a genuine first team member. But the young centre-back has quashed claims that he is seeking a move away from the club, and has declared that he sees his future on Tyneside. "I want to play for Newcastle. That is my main concern," Taylor said. "I'll play, if people want to sort out the contract then that'll get sorted out. My main thing is that I want to play for Newcastle, there's no doubt about that. "I'm committed to the club 100 per cent, that's the club I want to play for." From SSN
  5. At home (in the house): Bellamy vs Feynoord At St James': Shearer vs Mansfield (200th goal)
  6. Not saying its a good thing and I am not saying they should, but if they are going to stand up and talk shit about the lad then they may as well fucking start a protest of some sort, or maybe a hate club Well if you don't think they should, or that it's a good idea, shut up. Who gives a shit what he does off the pitch, he's a good player, a player who can get us where we need to be in the league, he gives his all when he's on the pitch, just as he does for England. If he happens to get injured whilst playing for England it's not really his fault, he could've just as easily got injured the other day against Everton, just a co-incidence, get off his back. Agree with you there and for that you can fuck off Edit: If no one did give a shit what he does of the pitch than i would start getting worried. If no one gave a shit about what Bellamy did of the pitch do you not think he might of still been here?
  7. Not saying its a good thing and I am not saying they should, but if they are going to stand up and talk shit about the lad then they may as well fucking start a protest of some sort, or maybe a hate club
  8. I think you will find the majority of fans have players at the club who they don't like, that doesn't mean they're full of shit for not protesting about them outside the ground. Daft lad. but if they are going to stand up in a press conference or what ever the fuck it was and say that they don't like him and other stupid fans cheer him/her then why the fuck don't they get there point across properly by protesting
  9. If our so called fans hate Owen so much why don't they start a protest after a home game and ask for him out, like the time when they asked for Dyer and co to be booted, or are the Owen haters just all full of shit?
  10. Track record shows that we have little hope there. Expensive trophy signing, not delivered goods, £12 mill for him in January, big Shola will finally step out of the shadows. Not delivering the goods? Hasn't he scored about 9 in 16 or summat ?? £12m for him? No chance. The only problem with ikkle Mickey is his injury problem. And the VAST majority of the perceived problem in this regard is due to ONE injury picked up in the World Cup - an injury that is unlikely (hopes) to happen on a regular basis. Not delivered the goods in the sense he's played 16 in over two years man. I hope his injury crisis is now over but his fitness record with us is atrocious. Incidentally how many times has he turned out for England in that time? What percentage of our games has he missed, and what percentage of their's? Come on statto's, you know it's better than work! No question he is "on his day" our most effective forward. What price Owen in January then? discuss.... Swap deal for Bellamy................ case closed he went to far
  11. Fuck all the Owen haters, hes fucking quality, just wait until he gets back to full fitness (dunno when that will be) but when he's 100% fit he can score against anyone on his day!!!!
  12. wrong section mate, you should be in the Football Games section, and yes most people have finished the demo. Shame they don't think the same thing about it.

  17. 2 years ago Emre scored a belting goal in a narrow 3-2 win at home. Difference was, that was against the Mackems who ended up bottom with the worst Premiership record ever. Fairly indicative of how we've improved IMO. Everton are a bloody good side. Exactly, nobody is 100% happy with this season so far, but we're moving in the right direction and it will take a bit of time to take the shambles we were into a top team. And to be fair to Everton they weren't the long ball playing bunch of cloggers they were, they tried to play some football and weren't dirty. Mind you, despite both Everton and us not being dirty in the slightest, the complete prick in charge decided to stop the game every 10 seconds with imaginary freekicks and did his best to ruin it from start to finish. Agree with you on that one. I don't think Smith should have got a yellow, from the stands it looked like two great challenges.
  18. Tbh Emre won the game for us today, played great when he came on. Also thought the defence played class, specially Jose Enrique. Smith played better than he usually does. I was at the match and all I seen was Smith getting treatment on the touchline, in the first half, what happened to him?
  19. when somebody hasn't decided to gamble on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway?
