1 year since SBR was relieved of his duties

Time will tell which of us is right. I personally thought Bellamy was too inconsistent 20524 I think you and all your other aliases is ruining this message board 20546 I have no idea what you are on about but grammatically it would be "you and all your other aliases ARE ruining this message board." So anyway, do you think that your unbridled bleating is what a forum should be about. I am as much a fan as you are. Both Gazza and Boumsong were recently asking for the fans' support. Are you saying that they're wrong? Do you think they want to have the negative atmosphere that's currently being generated at SJP? Give the manager and the side a chance, it won't kill you. You're entitled to your opinion. I'm entitled to post here. -

Well, I'm being sarcastic but I think his sacking is unavoidable due to the sheer weight of expectation by our brethren. 20541 Oh, right. Well, sarcasm is hard to spot on a forum at times! But your ava? You are a puff aren't you? 20543 Isn't Souey big mates with Winton? I know it sounds absolutely crackers, but I'm sure I heard it somewhere. They do say that a premiership manager is gay...... -
I actually think the board are playing a blinder here. Honestly I do. a: It temporarily appeases the fans as it IS a big bid b: It makes it harder for Liverpool than it would have been c: We can still look for other strikers while Liverpool scratch their arses d: He could end up here None of the pressure is on us. I think the board should be given some credit.

We will lose to Man U....they're better than us. After that we can regroup and start our climb up the table. More disruption ain't what we need.

Still not answered where the improvement has been in the last 12 months. But I do hope for, but doubt, your forecast for the next 12. As an aside - the UEFA Cup isn't worth diddly. Akin to a Micky Mouse competition until you reach the very latter stages. Not reaching the semi would make most participating clubs make a financial loss in being in the competition. 20531 The improvement in Bramble, addition of Boumsong and emergence of Taylor. Emre and Parker are better than Butt and Robert. As for Luque v Bellamy....time will tell but I imagine Luque is less of an arsehole. -

We'll lose today but we'll start picking up points after that. We will do well in both cups and qualify for the UEFA cup via a top 6 finish. It's just what I think. -
Rock on brother!

When you go to the dentist, first he has to drill out the decay. Filling over the rot just gives you trouble further down the line. 20517 20520 -
So you've read p338 too then!

Great post. I still believe Souey should get this season. There is no pattern in football. Sometimes you unearth an unknown gem, sometimes a high profile signing is a flop. Sometimes an extra year can be squeezed from a veteran former star. Souness WAS I believe the best available option at the time. He has some very obvious flaws but in all honesty, how many of us were losing faith in Robson and the seeming lack of any discipline. I think the club is safe for now while we look for Souness's successor. He won't get us relegated and his signings have so far been pretty shrewd IMO. Of course we can all fantasise about having Mourinho 3 years ago but it didn't happen. He would have probably been poached by Chelsea anyway

Maybe GS ain't as stupid as some here think...... How many people here had honestly heard of Emre and Luque before they came here?

The only sane choice on this thread so far. I don't think he would or should come yet though. His reputation is only just being made. (He will also be a future England manager IMO). However, Man City gave him a chance and his reputation would suffer if he left them now. We should stick with what we have for now.
