Once again did pretty well when he came on and did very well when he set zog up If he was gong to pass he had to do it earler as Zog was alongisde him and would have had a tap in, having gone past the defender he had to be looking to score himself, tho he did manage to get it to Zog but defenders were on the line by then. The chance he trundled well wide of the post later was an easy chance and he fucked it up. And he had one moment when they lost the ball it was played forward and he was clear, about a yard ahead of the defender and the guy just strolled past him and took the ball. I used to be one of the few people who defended him but he's basically a waste of time, stick a kid on who'll run themsleves into the ground and fight for everything ahead of him, they also might be able to shoot, as he in all his time at NUFC has yet to hit a ball cleanely, he's scored the odd goal but he can't strike the ball.

Got to be happy with a battling draw from 2-0 down but as people have said the win was there for the taking. If Ameobi was even a semblance of a proffesional footballer he could have snatched the win for us. I can't believe yet again we gave the opposition such a soft goal, yet again Butt diving in like an idiot. As he gets older he's conceding more stupid pens and freekicks and we can't keep giving the opposition a 1-0 head start every match. But if (big if) we can follow this battling effort up with a win we can start to drag ourselves up the table and get out of trouble.
-
Pretty much my thoughts, even when they've finished 4th ive never particluarly rated Everton as anything special and without Cahill they drop massively in standard. So keep it tight and we can get something but as in any game at the moment, if the opposition score early our heads drop and we have no chance. So goalless for a good while (or us takign the lead obviously) and i think we can win it, concede first half and i dont see us getting anything.

Forrest Gump tbh Charles frustrates me so much. I know so many on here rate him really highly but he is so inconsistent and like Martins has no football brain whatsoever. Aye give him a ball at his feet and tell him to run with it (or credit where its due hes not scared to have a shot) but his crossing is inconsistent, he fails to play the obvious (and often simple) pass all too often and can't tackle either. Don't get me wrong he has attributes but I fear he is just going to be another Keiron Dyer. For me by now i expected alot more of him to be honest in terms of goals and quality balls in the box, so i am frustarted by him as well, but this season i do think he's really giving it everything for 90 mins and other than Owen the only person remotely likely to make anything happen!
-
Its pheominal that Owen has netted 5 goals in a team that is creating less than fuck all for him! And its not like he sits in the box waiting for it to happen, he's everywhere on the pitch working his arse off, but he can't take teams on by himself. Though i'll give Zog credit this season that i really think he's having a go, he's trying hard and looking to make things happen just unfortunately the end product has been lacking, but at least he's going for it. Duff's second half performance makes his efforts so far this season even worse as he's show he can take players on and be a threat, so what the fuck he's doing 90% of the time i don't know! Sad fact is unless we score first we will lose, and if Owen gets injured we're absolutely fucked!

A mate of mine went for a job there and all through the time he was there it was made quite clear how important being religious was and also the kind of crap they teach as fact so he quickly left, as he wouldn't want to work in a place like that. Obviously i don't think any relgion at all should be taught manditorally (is that a word!) in any school you don't need it in any way, shape or form, and its of no pratical use whatsoever, but if it is going to be then teach a bit of all of them, point out there is no proof whatsoever for any of them to be classed as fact and stuff creationism in there as that's where it belongs. To have it within any distance of science is moronic. They do get good exam results mind They do indeed! But once you take out the insane religious nonsense from these schools they are incredibly well run and function so well because they have plenty of discipline and the like and don't stand for any shit from the kids. Just a shame its combined with teaching lies basically!

And then show the clip with Flanders talkign to god saying "But i did everything it says in the bible, even the stuff that contradicts all the other stuff!" Or the episode of family guy where Peter is classed as being retarded and they show a diagram of decreasing intellignece levels: Normal Retarded Creationists

When did Azureus change its name?
Papa Lazaru replied to Dr Kenneth Noisewater's topic in General Chat
Been Vuze for a while now, no difference at all in use and performance of it so far for me -
Well that was depressing, but sadly predictable to heap more misery on top of the whole Keegan situation. Pretty poor performances all round with the exception of Owen who i think deserves alot of credit. The guy never stopped for 90 mins, trying to do everything hismelf, i saw him up front, behind the strikers, in midfield, on the wing and several times back in defence, he was getting kicked about but kept going even though he was basically on his own today. And how many more managers and caretaker managers are going to keep picking Ameobi meaning we're playing with 10 men all game, especially when the new lad was makign his debut up front and has to play with that alongside him!

SSN - Keegan talking to Ashley in London now...
Papa Lazaru replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
One thing ive said all along, before this evenings events is that i have always believed the stuff with Ashley and the fans was genuine, and not a stunt. I really think he wanted/wants to enjoy having a football club, being at the match as one of the fans and all that stuff, its really not something to buy to make big money from. What happens tonight and in the future i have no idea and unless i see Keegan back i will not be forgiving Ashley for what he's done, but i do honestly believe his being one of the fans was geunine from him. Perhaps because of this he has seen the massive reaction to losing Keegan and had a rethink, and is trying to find a way to make it work, i hope so! If KK should come back then what a fucking atmosphere the Hull game will have, but i'm not getting excited at the moment as NUFC have a habit of disappointing! -
Exactly, offer him a contract and then this fucking mess! What's he on now, about his 5th manager in 3 years or something, i think he has every right to want to be out of here in Janurary which will be just one more thign Ashley has cost us.
-
What i want is for the fans right up to kick off and perhaps a little after give Ashley torrents of abuse, chant for Keegan and anythign else they want to throw in there, and then get on with supporting the team because we could be fucked after whats happened and the players who are there will need fans behind them like KK had got back. Its been horrible in recent years under the last 3 managers when the atmosphere is awful and often just hate filled and angry and it wont help us win the game. But certainly to begin with they need to get a right fucking blast from the entire crowd!
-
Even if Ashley did ask him, Big Al would tell him to shove it up his arse, he wouldn't touch the job now, not the way things are and rightly so!
-
Have to be honest i'm not blaming Wise, Jimminez and all the others, it is entirely on Ashley's head. They were brought in to do the jobs he assigned them which they have done, if they weren't following his instructions they and not KK would be out. So i have no axe to grind with them, i'm even in favour of having these roles at the club providing the manager overules them all in saying yes or no to any players in and has complete control of players out, but that didn't happen. So basically Ashley should fuck off and never come back because he's never going to be able to sit with the fans again after this shit! We can only pray that for once Anal Oliver is right and that there is a chance these investors still want to buy the club from Ashley because he'll be made very aware by the fans he needs to go.
-
Agree completely, i'm absolutely sick at all this, and will be forcing myself to go to the Hull match. And now the players including the poor bastards who've just signed are going to have a backdrop of anger and abuse flying round the ground plus no doubt loads of pro Keegan chanting (which i totally undertsand and certainly they should know what we thing of the cunts) but its going to eb horrible to play in. Basically Ashley has completely fucked this club up, taking us from looking like we were back on track, the perfect choice at the helm and genuine optimism for times ahead to a fucking joke. He should just fuck off now and save 50,000 (well alot less probably!) people telling him to fuck off at the Hull Match.
-
This club just drives you insane, there is no other club like it in the world for its ability to have shit like this happen! I just pray whatever has gone on, and clearly something big has, that he comes back as manager and we can move on from this. And if he does return, then one thing you can guarentee is Hull are in for a complete hammering with how fired up everyone will be for that match! But today has been fucking awful from when somebody at work first told me what was happening.

What you talkin' bout Gemmill!

I love KK and everything he's done (and will do) for NUFC, but he's never been any use with subs at all, Shola should have been hauled off at halftime and either let one of the young lads have a run out as they would at least have tried or bring on an extra midfilder and try and get some sort of grip of arsenal in the middle of the park, we were basically playing with 10 men!
-
Arse with Fabregas back were in absolute top form, certainly in the first half and in patches second half, so getting a good beating isnt the end of the world, especially with the number of senior players we had left fit! We didn't help by playing badly oursleves and shooting ourselves in the foot gifting them goals/penalty but on that form they would beat most teams comfortably. Shola was shocking though, wandering round as if he couldnt be bothered and whilst Zog conceded the penalty it was Shola giving up any effort to stop the guy before he crossed into the box that started the problem. Probably only Given and the tireless Jonas came out of it well, but we need to forget this one, have a break, get soem signings in and get back on track against Hull.

He's been out injured since pre-season, in fact all our strikers including 2 or 3 of the young lads have been injured at some point! Its a blow that Beye is out injured though he's been carrying an injury all season so far and i thought it was coming. I think we'll play well again, but with alot of injuries, Fabregas back, Arse looking to bounce back from the Fulham match and no chance at all that we'll get another fair go from the ref against a top 4 team like we did at Old Trafford i think we'll likely lose but make a good show of oursleves. However with Owen around and looking like he could be on one of those runs where he is going to score every game anything can happen! The obligatory dig at officials. You know you'd be disappointed if i didn't, have to give people what they want! Anyway its true, playing against the best teams is hard enough as it is, but on an unusually even playing field KK has shown what he can do in the manu game!

It really is a top radio station, playing all the classic kind of rock you mentioned but also some metal, bit of blues, and often good full live tracks and stuff like that. The last i read about it a few old rockstars had got together with a rich businessman or something to save it, i forget who it was now but 2 or 3 well known musicians.

Collocini is looking class, calm and in control and very comfortable on the ball, but when it needs rid off he gets shot of it without any fuss, and he gets some distance and direction on his clearing headers, i'm used to toon defenders heading the ball vertically up in the air all the time! And to save Tom posting it and get accused of being obsessed with them: The Mackems have a 19 to 20 page thrread on our match filled with bitterness and shooting their load at Coventry goals! It must be depressing when your rivals mean more to you than your own team!
