If Faye ever gets picked ahead of Clark its a disgrace. People forget Clark had a really good season lat year in the prem as Fulham's captain, he's far from finished and can do a good job for us. And he has to be picked ahead of Faye by anybody who has any concept of football at all.

Fair play to them, they've tried to go for some big targets, they were rejected but they showed some ambition and willingness to gamble.

They'll be wanting him struck from the club records for being a traitor and want him burned at the stake!

On these year long deals we can't call him back at anytime, even if we had an injury crisis, he's there for a year. They could cancel it at anytime if they wanted though.

Also, as I've said previously, the fact we haven't looked like scoring or had any mobility up front this season has put a lot of pressure on the back four. I'm more than happy with our 3 main centrebacks + Given and the fullbacks can do their bit as well if they stay fit! Not only do they continuously have too many threads about us, they ended up having about 3 threads saying there were too many threads about NUFC/Owen etc!!! To be honest if things had worked out under Keegan and we'd got the title and more trophies beyond i actually think some of them wouldn't have been able to cope, thy would have exploded with bitterness or became manic depressives!
