1. He must be whipped then, the missus takes up a stupid religious cult and he gets told to put it in his movies
2. You have to remember even his fans, (like me) ackowledge that he (like many footballers) is an idiot alot of the time, and they don't engage their brain before they react. So it wasn't surprising to see a stupid initial reaction followed up by a more sensible answer on reflection.
3. Somebody wants to stir it all up Serious answer, who knows, he may have done. But people forget with the Rooney one he retracted it the next day and admitted that having a microphone stuck in his face with that question straight after the Norwich match meant he spoke without thinking and he changed to accepting it would be a good signing and he'd have to fight for his place. So i imagine he'd have got on with it, especially as like me i expect he would fancy playing alongside Owen because Shearer wouldn't be around for much longer.
4. There was also the fact that for ages the female contestant didn't get why everybody else was screaming with laughter, how could you not see it!!!
5. I still think JJ has some ability, but he's increasingly looking as though he'll waste it. What you will notice much more is, now that he's at one of the cockney media's teams they wank over in Spurs, it'll be noticed alot quicker that he's doing nowt and will be commentted on more than up here when nationally he was still regarded as having been playing well for ages!
6. Agree, though i don't think he'll quite end up at Woodgates level as he is a genius, but he'll play alot more often!
7. you're doing a good enough job yourself Craig To say the opinion "we couldnt have" is nonsense isnt the same as saying we would have which is what you accuse him of saying. He's not saying we would have signed Bellamy. the ridiculous post I was refering to (light heartedly) wasn't your opinion on the signing of Owen it was the one quoted above. whats even more ridiculous is I've even got involved in this 36397 Though to be fair you read my mind and posted what i would. Craig, what he said is right, i thought to state we couldn't have Owen here without losing Bellamy as an undisputable fact is indeed nonsense (of the 100% variety ) What i haven't said is that with Bellamy still here we would 100% definitely have signed Owen, but that IMO we would have because we need another striker, Bellamy is a no.2 striker not no.1 and that money would have been made available when Owen was a definite option.
8. Its good if Millner does well there, either we get him back a better player or if they decide to sell he goes for decent money.
9. Old fart!! 36266 Not that old, even I recognised it 36277 Me too, though it should have been said with a lisp!
10. From what i saw in the brief seconds it was on, there was hardly any serious contact and whilst it cut away quickly there was barely a reaction from Bellamy either.
11. I agree, and remember i'm in the pessemists club on here But its amazing what a 3-0 away win and goals for both strikers after months of shite can do to morale and has a knock on effect in your next game! City are looking decent this year and Blackburn were indeed shite (as were we until the goal) so its far from easy, but they have a chance to build on the good feeling they must currently have. 36235 Pfffft.....when is the last time we done that? 36236 Wish i could remember!

14. Its something thats annoyed me about NUFC during and indeed before Souness' time here. We rush players back and crock them, we rush players back who have ahistory with injury instead of giving thm longer than is required. We never brign them back through the reserves to ease them back in. And as we all know when you combine that with sunday league standard coaching and fitness work, its a recipe for disaster. We've just won 3-0 away from home, the players will be upbeat and maybe even the fans so we can win the home match without him rushing players back. But if we are to win we need to play an attacking midfield and attacking tactics not defensive midfielders in attack and fullbacks on the wing! The game is there for the taking without Dyer/Emre/Nobby so no need to risk them.
15. If they are genuinely 50:50 then in this instance all he has to do is think of the club/team and indeed himself long term and rest them. The play a midfield of: Zog-----Parker-----Clark------Bowyer (or the young winger O'Brien on the right) And he'll have done his job well, not asking too much IMBO (thats in my biassed opinion )
16. If we still had Bellamy, we never would have had Owen - simple as that... 35790 You keep saying that in any Bellamy thread as if its a fact when its categorically wrong. Souness on his own admission (and rightly) bought Owen to replace Shearer, hence him pointing out that Owen was one of onle a handful of people who could ever fill Shearers boots. Souness also knows we are still short up front, which is why he intends using Dyer often as a striker and Luque giving that option as well. It also shows he ackowledges pace up front is useful! If he and Bellamy hadn;t fallen out he'd still be here in the second striker Role (either in the team or fighting to get in) and Owen would be number one when Shearer left. The money we got for Bellamy was negligeable when you consider Fat Fred had always been saving this money up for the time when it came to replace Big Al, if he'd had to he'd have went over £20m to get Shearers replacement. If you hate Bellamy, fair enough, plenty of people agree with you! But to say we couldnt have Owen without losing Bellamy is 100% nonsense and seems like the sort of agenda i am accused of having against Souness. Which to be fair i do, i want him out.
17. Heres a chance to see if the manager and coaches have learned anything at all this season. Play them and they haven't, give them more rest and they may just show they actually have a brain between them. The words 50:50 should surely be enough for anyone to know not to risk them, with our players 90:10 sounds seriously risky! 50:50 means they are as likely to break down and be out for weeks again as they are to manage to last a game.
18. Theres no doubting a player like Bellamy is going to try and wind up and fool a young centreback during the match, its what he does. However the sending off was down to Taylor (and Boumsong who cost him the first yellow with his error) The first yellow was beyond question, he then fouled Bellamy and escaped a second yellow, and then fouled him again, the ref was always going to send him off when you consider he'd been booking half our team! But since somebody mentioned Savage, he is a complete twat, a player who acts the hardman even though he's just plain dirty and then as soon as you go near him he's crying like a bairn and demanding refs send you off.
19. For me. the players should be born in the country they play for, the only exception being if both parents were from another country and then you could play for either your country of birth or the country of your parents. The managers and coaches can come from where the hell you like. Mourinho is about the best in the business, if he wanted to take on the poisoned chalice that is England then i'd love it, but i think he'll be too intelligent to really want it!
20. We could do with cover/new first choice LB and RB We need another two strikers to go with Owen and Shearer (who is going after this year anyway) and Dyer as a makeshift
21. I know, they're leaving it a bit late aren't they FFS!!!
22. Erm, I think SAD only applies to winter, where the lack of natural sunlight can literally drive a person to depression. Winter's shite it really is. The only good thing is the football, but even then you freeze your bollocks off watching it. January and February are the worst - Christams is gone and there's still months before it gets warm. 35686 Thats an interesting point actually. Its called seasonal(ly) affected disorder or similar, and is always applied to winter, but i wonder if you can have the summer equivalent?
23. I've seen both clips of Shearer and Beckham in the film and if anything it's the other way around. 35657 How dare you, why don't you just go and support Beckham then you traitor!!!
24. I knew Tatu were making a comeback, but blimey, they've changed a bit... 35627 Look at you, deliberately quoting the pic 'cause secretly you love women getting it on 35632 Well, you know what the alternative is... 35644 I do indeed!
25. I read somewhere that he delivered his line(s) quite well whereas Beckham was pretty poor!
