  1. He still has no heart. He may do alright when there is nothing on the line, but once the team is playing for points, he disappears
  2. I think he may have ruined his own slim chance
  3. Did not do them much good in the end though
  4. If only we had got Douglas when he was available. Shame we missed out on that one (when I say missed out, I really mean the buffoon had not heard of him, so we turned him down just before he signed). Where did he end up - Inter wasn't it? How did he get on, does anyone know?
  5. If only he had taught his brother how to kick a football, as well
  6. Some dodgy keeping there, and I liked the way he would lose track of the ball, throwing the defenders off their game Never forget those Makem slayer goals, though
  7. Perth Glory - I must be a sucker for punishment. Dreadful season, at least we saw a manager sacked and replaced by Kenny Lowe Always good for a laugh though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVKfH5-vwE8 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jc_JDmZY1rw
  8. No It would not be so bad if it actually got close to him, at some speed. Lobbing it in his general direction (i.e. towards the penalty area - nothing more precise) will never achieve anything. Presumably all the opposition manager has to say is "the ball is going towards Williamson, don't worry about anyone else. It is likely to end up in our goalie's hands, anyway, because they don't have anyone who can take a corner"!
  9. I thought we got a specialist for just that reason - can't remember her name but she worked with England rugby team didn't she?
  10. Precisely, and I get to avoid finding out the result, so I can watch after work, only to watch that crap - cheese-eating surrender monkeys
  11. The only person in danger would have been Mourinho
  12. I understand the comments, but sitting in the brutal sun at the WACA on the fourth day when he slapped the ball down to long-on left me very keen on never seeing the man again!
  13. Agree, but I certainly prefer honesty to the usual bs
  14. This is the real issue. Until the FA/FIFA/UEFA start to deal with simulation properly, i.e. by retrospective bans, it will continue. Remy's was always a red card, Johnson's should have stood and he should have got more for the attempt to get a fellow professional sent off
  15. Of course, that is what everyone probably expected in the FA Cup last year
  16. The thing I found most strange was Cisse knocking the long ball on for Shola - surely it should have been the other way round, if you are going to use those tactics
  17. Born in Corbridge, lived around the Hexham area for a large part of my life, but now in Perth, Western Australia - currently a sunny 20 degrees Don't know what that makes me. Supported NUFC all my life (52)
