Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

I could probably believe the rest of it, but a footballer referring to Greek (or any) civilisation is going a bit far. -
Agree. I just wish that those protesting against clearly criminal actions by police think it appropriate to burn down businesses and loot. None of the families want them to do that, and it just gives Trump and his followers an out. He will certainly dig in, and as he has already said he won't accept the result if it goes against him. If he loses, it will be militias on the streets and Trump in Court. Hopefully, the Republican party will not accept his refusing to leave, but you never know. As with any politician, as long as it is their party, anything goes.

The bar is clearly not particularly high, though, is it?

So that's a maximum of two players that another club doesn't want? -

I'm sorry, perhaps I did not make myself clear -
I would much rather he concentrated on things like this than screwing up important things. Unfortunately, he seems to be able to multi-task and is already pushing the argument that Harris may not be qualified to be a VP and delaying funding to the Post Office, so that absentee votes can't be sent out or returned and counted.

You must be really looking forward to the dead cat bounce of a hard Brexit

I am pretty sure Rashid doesn't even have a red ball contract these days, and age is probably against him as well. Agree about Leach, but would hope that there is better out there. We don't really make spinning pitches these days, so it is difficult to produce spinners who get enough time in the middle.

Depends on who's next cab off the rank I suppose, but probably worth it. You have a very strange mind - keep it up.

Not sure if they know whether Moeen is a batsman who bowls or a bowler who bats, and he ends up being neither, which is a shame. He certainly seems to have the most talent, I would agree but age is probably starting to hurt him.

Can't wait for the Moron in Chief to make some snidey comment about NZ, as he did with Oz. He would be lucky if there were only 4 in his immediate staff!

Surely the confidentiality agreement, if there is one, is between seller and buyer, not with the PL. On that basis, from where do the confidentiality provisions on which they rely come? If there was an anticipation of confidentiality from the PL by the seller and buyer within the O & D test process, the buyer, at least, has clearly relinquished any rights to confidentiality given what has been said on the buyer's. Therefore, the PL should have no need to abide by it either, and could (and should) provide a statement, at the very least to deny that it held up the process or put unachievable conditions on the test. -

Neither have I, but I will probably watch the occasional highlight - can't help myself, unfortunately. Been like this for most of my nearly 60 years on this god awful planet.
