He can play for the U23s as far as I am concerned. As long as he is not in the 25 man squad it will mean we have much better players than him.

The reasoning why he was not on the bench made sense, i.e. could not make a difference one way or the other. The fact that Krafth and Clark were playing in front of him did not make sense.

At least with the Lions squad there, as well, giving them practice matches, it may show that Mahmood (or someone else) should be to the main squad. I agree about Overton. We have too many similar players, and I don't see him getting a game unless there are a significant number of injuries. Of course, he is reasonable with the bat, which is always a determining factor when you have a top 7 which is likely to fall in a heap.
