Curbishley is nothing more than a decent club manager. He's done well to establish Charlton as a Premiership team with limited resources, but to be honest they are pretty shite. I look at it the other way. I think most people that like them only like them because they ARE so popular and were hyped beyond belief. Dancefloor was a great song and got played to death for a year. Just remembered another one: Few months back we were in Flares, me and my mate went for a piss. Got to the door upstairs and couldn't grasp opening it (), I thought fuck it i'll hold on til later, but my mate decided he'd just piss on the toilet door. My worst was last year at Uni, utterly rat arsed I pissed in the hole in a red post box on the street I was so ashamed the next morning, so if anyone had any piss smelling post from Sheffield that day then I apologise I occasionally miss the target but i'll always clean up. I think Pearce is and will be a good manager, but he's not as good as he's made out. To be honest he's got injuries at City, and ends up playing loads of young lads, who while they might be decent aren't what you want to be relying on.

Bowyer might have been excellent today, but that doesn't cover up the fact that he's nothing more than an average to good player. Parker is quality, and while I think he might be better suited in a 3 man midfield you can't ignore his consistently mint performances this year.
