Well I always have some form of stubble for when I play ice hockey (I'm a goalie btw) as it's one of those superstition things. Unfortunately me lass has made the odd complaint about stubble rash, but that's just the way it goes. I'm driving her somewhere for a romantic meal on valentine's day. That's my post criteria filled. If you hadn't had put that final sentence in, it would have been perfectly believable.

Thats why its quite hard for us to write good CVs at this stage because we've just not had the life experience older people have had. I had an Assesment Centre thing the other week for a grad job and strangely I was the only person there still at Uni (spotted the talent tbh), everyone else was about 25 and had so much more to say about themselves simply because they'd had more time to build up experience etc. You look better as everyone knows the other s have been fucking about trying not to work. Use that to your advantage 'I just cant wait to start...' etc. Aye true. In the kind of 'ice breaker' session, one lad was asked what he'd done in his gap year. Infront of all the assessors he bluntly said that he'd done nout and had been on the dole! Impressive.

Aye they are fucking useless like. Gave me my car back after fixing the brakes, I start it and the brake warning light comes on. The bloke from Kwik Fit is still stood there and goes "Yeah, not sure what that was. Might be your brake fluid levels." Well it wasn't doing it when I got here dickface - sort it! Someone I know had taken a car in to get new tyres on. Driving down the motorway after they picked it up and there's this godawful banging noise, so she pulls into the nearest garage. They'd replaced the tyre but only put one of the nuts back on to hold it in place - and that one wasn't even tight. Anyway, went back to Kwik Fit to say she wanted her money back and the car checked for damage, and the bloke's response was "Look, to give you your money back, I have to contact head office, and if I contact head office they'll want a reason, and if I tell them what's happened they'll make me sack the lads that did your car. Do you really want me to have to do that?" Emotional blackmail-tastic. Mental

Last time I did my tyres in I went to Kwik Fit, was quite expensive. Theres a place in Middlesbrough which is canny, behind the bus station and Captain Cook Square car park, don't remember what the place or road is called.

Lampard doesn't dominate games like Gerrard does, he can easily go through a game without being noticed much. And thats nout to do with Lampard playing alongside class players. I can't stand those annoying lofted through balls he always tries from deep, and if I see another jammy long distance strike which bounces off 3 players i'll go mad!

I loved it when we signed Boumsong, and Souness said that one of the reasons he signed him is because he's such a vocal defender, who is always talking throughout the game. 18 months later and Taylor came out and said that Boumsong was the quietest defender he'd ever played with.

I like football biographies if its about someone interesting who has achieved things, like Robson's and Beardsley's, but i've got absolutely no interest in listening to Frank Lampard's moaning about being called 'Frank Jnr' at West Ham, or his excuses for being shite for England.
