  1. 2nd half when there's a couple more pints in the belly might make a difference..... or a goal for us.
  2. Fuck the one game I don't watch it and Joe Ellington scores a brace. Inconsiderate bastard
  3. Absolutely fucking marvellous end to that match. Dull game but sweet finish to make my weekend. GTFI Bruno!
  4. I think today will give them a much needed kick up the arse. Shape was all over. I think we will be ok but could do with another win or 2 to be certain. Expect Eddie to make a change next time out
  5. Dan Burn is some boy, but yet another performance where you couldnt say anyone had a bad game. Howe has turned them into ball playing athletes with their endless traingles and running. Transformed. Can't wait to see Wilson playing in this side.
  6. Are we seriously watching the same bunch of Bruce Bottlers? These lot have been unbelievable.

Pretty shitty kneejerk from 3 that, they knew all along who was running the club, they knew last week that RA was looking to punt it fast because they were chasing him. They've waited until the 13th hour to do it. I still hate Chelsea and their fans though.
  8. Club in transition. These things take time.
  9. I'm still on the cautious side of the fence I think. We've done absolutely brilliantly against the sides we needed to put to the sword, the defence all of a sudden looks organised and each player knows their job. Im a Krafth critic but even he played well yesterday both defending and going forward. I'd have said our midfield 3 have been the biggest difference to our fortunes as all 3 are unrecognisable from who they were during the first months of the season, but that would be an injustice also to the likes of Fraser and Murphy who have been tireless in attack. Top and bottom of it, is that from front to back and inside out this club has been transformed from the poisonous void it was back in September to something which the fans and players now believe in. Howe and his team have been integral to that, as much as the new owners have. I'm trying to temper any excitement until we are mathematically safe as it only takes a few poor results to get sucked in but it's difficult not to be excited when you see what has been done in just a few months.
  10. Over the moon with the performance and the result. Eddie has the players and the fans singing!
  11. Maybe this will be the job that sees him off for good. WBA should have taken the stats for themselves rather than listening to his cronies. They'll have to see the season out with him, and hopefully it'll be a winless finish. I'm still surprised Alex Bruce hasn't shown up here yet. He must go trawling the corners of the internet looking to defend him from keyboard warriors.
  12. Don't think its just the antivaxxers who are seeing the numbers of players/supporters who are having incidents on and off the pitch. Its not necessarily attributed to the vaccine, it could well be the virus itself causing it. Either way, cardiac incidents in a lot of folk don't appear until the point where its almost too late.
  13. Like the fact the commentator says "really good atmosphere in here this afternoon" without referencing the incident then just pausing to let us hear the Zouma chant.
  14. Perfect timing! Really liking Murphy's application, just needs to find his shooting boots
  15. Making some good chances, just need to get someone on the end of them....who can hit it at goal.
  16. Manquillo has raised his game and is a competent replacement, maybe doesn't fill in for all the shouting and commanding though. If he's not fit either then cheese slice it is.
  17. Agree with the first bit, but Krafth is nowhere near the standard he should be. he gets caught out positionally a lot, and Fraser seems to come deeper to cover his shortcomings.
  18. Shelvey was even better this game than he was against Everton. Not sure if his legs can do midweek though. We've still seen nothing of Bruno.
  19. and for once Souness is spot on. West Ham have made a complete mess of this, he should have been binned off immediately. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
  20. I have zero confidence in Krafth. He gets caught square, gets dragged out of position and he was lucky he didnt give them a goal. Really hope Manny and Trippier are only out for a couple of days because having to rely on Krafth/Ritchie again will be painful.
  21. Burn was excellent, marshalled the back line along with Schar. Thought Joelinton and Shelvey were superb first half, legs started going though and bookings took the potency away from them. Willock again looked better, Wood got himself in the game much more than he had done too. Another dogged performance and a tremendous 3 points. Over the moon!
