Although I did say it was unfortunate that Shelvey didn't get a chance this season through injury, he has to go before this window closes. I don't see the club wanting him to trigger the contract extension which is apparently 3 games away. Seeing him away allows us movement on wages.

Shame to see the back of Shelvey, purely because he has been decent since the takeover when fit and his actual fitness seemed to have ramped up several notches at the end of last season. What I thought was going to be a standout year for him has been finished by injury and now this contract extension clause which will mean we won't play him anymore. He might as well go to Forest where he will get game time.

Merely making reference to his standards of behaviour when he's currently under contract. Going AWOL to force a move isn't a good look. I not suggesting he carries out any nefarious behaviour under the cover of darkness or owt like that. I'm not fond of this Gordon signing, and I can't see how being a petulant little twat for a club who pays his wages makes him endear himself to Eddie Howe. It's unprofessional and doesn't do him any favours. I certainly don't want us pedalling Maxi who despite being dropped to a squad player from being first on the team sheet hasn't bad mouthed the manager or club in public to signing a kid with questionable morals who had a decent season but has by all accounts been woeful this year.

Had to turn sky off. Why Neville commentators on Man Utd games I don't know. The poor Forest fans have to suffer that for the rest of this and probably the next game. I certainly won't be watching the final on sky if he's on.

We can't have passengers out of loyalty when it's clearly not just a lack of confidence, he's short of fitness. ASM is showing improvements with each game. Only issue is the lack of tracking back in lieu of Willock.
