Liverpool not doing too well

Anyone else particularly pissed off that man Utd seem to have discovered a natural finished in Rashford? The kid can't miss at the moment. He's dug them out so many times this season.

If we can appeal, and the appeal can be heard before next week then I say we appeal and take the risk of escalation.

He's going to Karius to glory

I was absolutely boiling after Pope's red. My phone was going off with all the red arseholes I have to suffer and I was worried we would be getting pumped for more. Instead, after a shakey recovery we weathered the storm. 2nd half we were without doubt the better side and I thought the guys really dug in and played some good stuff. Maxi had an excellent game but I thought Longy was a close second. Was playing some really tight football and winning balls all over the pitch. Despite losing, felt a lot less negative about the game by the final whistle. In Karius we trust.

We could get something out of this but similarly one more for them and it's absolutely dead in the water. Bit frustrating as I think aside from the defensive howlers, we've played pretty well. Suddenly the Scouse WhatsApp contacts have woken up this season too so I need to fuck them off if we can grab a point.

Just an aside, it'll be Karius next week .....

Why are we looking to choose between one or the other? I'd love us to get Champs league qualification, and I'd love to see us to the red Mancs next week. If I had to choose, it would be to win a cup. The other will sort itself out.

I think it's indicative of our squad depth. Eddie has kept the side pretty much the same, so players will fatigue and since the WC, I think weve seen a dip in intensity. The likes of Isak, Gordon and Maxi will take time to get back into it. Maxi definitely looked better today once we changed shape. Isak probably looked a bit short today and Gordon was industrious but with no end product. A couple of times I thought he had given himself an opportunity to have a pop, only to lay it off. Going to have to count the casualties after that. Don't be surprised to see Murphy starting against Liverpool!
