  1. The kid loves minge and is obviously on form at home. Probably fucked before he's even left the door.
  2. Webb is articulate and has good media presence. I listened to Mike Dean's interview with Simon Jordan last week and it was interesting to hear the amount of pressure these refs are under. They get it wrong and theyre off games.
  3. Agreed. They used that announcement for Greenwood to use the public as a weather vane. When they realised it was going to be toxic, they had no choice but to ship him out.
  4. He's done at Man Utd. Just wait til Rachel Riley starts on him.
  5. Likewise. I can't do regular games anyway now but would love to still go to the odd one
  6. Looks like Mancs reds are going home with nothing also. Very pleasant.
  7. Barnes needs his opportunity. He's had brief moments but he will get his chance.
  8. Last weekend I was livid, we threw away a win and half an hour of bollocks lost us the game. Tonight was just shite from the start. Full credit to Brighton for capitalising. I think they were decent, and took their opportunity. Ferguson is a unit for 18 years old, I reckon he'll be some player if he continues like that. I've never seen so many howlers in our side, much of them going unpunished thankfully but juggling balls around the box, not closing players down on the 18 yard area and giving balls away in defensive positions was something that was uncharacteristic. Big Joe looked legless, he was running but going nowhere. A lot of the others looked half a yard short. Pope just looked nervous. Miggy wasn't the scapegoat this time around, he did a lot of running first half and ended up coming into the centre to pick the ball up because there was a total disconnect between the middle 3 and front 3. But all that said, we need to put all these games in perspective. Villa we tortured, too scared against City but in the game throughout..dominated Liverpool first half but lost the second and now a really rubbish display. Altogether, about 120 mins of shitty football against 3 of what will likely be top 6. Chance to get back to basics after the break and hopefully right a few wrongs. I'm still not worried, just annoyed.
  9. They look like they've never played together. There's no 2 on 1s, complete lack of communication, wasteful passes. The other 2 games were losses where the performances were ok (apart from the last 20 mins against scousers) but this has been absolutely honking from the start.
  10. I'm inclined to say Longy on at half time but not sure who for as all 3 don't seem to be up to their usual standard
  11. We are toothless in midfield which is completely at contrast to our usual game..they're winning all the second balls. Miggy dropping central to try and pick stuff up.
  12. Tonali should have done better with the clearance but didn't look to win it back either.
  13. Are we hoping the crowd will fall asleep? Brighton don't seem to urgent to get it moving and we don't seem that bothered to take it off them. Atmosphere seems totally flat.
  14. These are the biggest games on the biggest stage. I'm delighted we've got these top teams coming to Newcastle. Hopefully we will give a good account of ourselves, regardless of ANY result. 3 home wins though.
  15. We can join them next round. Maybe not bleat on about it on TS though.
  16. I dare say the comments were a bit moot after last week's twitter spat. Still a lot criticising Eddie suggesting that he's not elite level as he doesn't make subs like Pep and Klopp. The kind of ludicrous comments you'd hear from fan accounts owned by Mackems and scousers.
  17. Yeah it's concerning that 2 defeats on the bounce hurts momentum. I'd agree that this is clearly the most frustrating result we've had since Eddie came in. The manner in which we threw it away against a lacklustre 10 men absolutely stinks.
