Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
Chaser replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
Those who have criticised female commentators have gone down the worm hole unfortunately in trying to be polite about the ones they're referring to. What they should have said is some of the women who are commentating on the football are shit and have been put there to appease a section of society so can we have some more women who are good at it. I've heard a couple of decent female commentators and there's a couple of decent pundits, including Jill Scott (excusing she's one of the unwashed) but there's a whole bunch of blokes who are equally shit at it and only got the gig because of their ex player status. -
I don't think we've done much wrong first half, Everton have been good with the press and closed us down quickly whenever we have been around them. Gordon floating around as an inverted winger seems to be having some effect, and it's creating a bit of a triangle between him Trips and Miley. Miley having another good game, couple of sloppy passes but overall his game has been intelligent.

I'd have to be in disguise myself to go to that shower of shit.

It's not a bad Garden centre, and the Badger next door is ok for food but considering what Eddie is earning, youd think he would treat her to another hostelry. You've got to feel for them. It must be a nightmare trying to go anywhere without getting bothered by the public.

Again, how are Man Utd in 6th? Garbage yet just do enough to keep winning.

The benefit of Tino is that along with his attacking ability, his outright pace means that if he rarely gets caught out of position, he can make it up. Burns positioning is overall very good but he knows his limitations hence doesn't bomb forward at the expense of defending. The shape is balanced and I don't think it's any coincidence that Gordon is in his best form with an attacking full back behind him.

We've got to surely look at our forward options. At least bring a kid in who has the potential to burst onto the first team. Behind Isak and Wilson, the talent drops off a cliff. Wilson has probably a couple of years left with us and is still made of cotton wool. I love the guy and his attitude to be no1 but his injury record puts that to bed.
