  1. This is the worry although I think it will develop. We are all guilty of it through the games success in this country. The PL are losing the everyman to the tourist and the well off which will mean the loss of atmosphere, die hards who can't afford it and the next generation. They are absolutely milking the fans for everything. Eventually the bubble will burst but it's hard to say how far it'll go before it does.
  2. Hopefully rinse each other for another half hour. It's hard to watch a match where you're so conflicted who the victor will be when you can't stand either of them.
  3. I don't think Eddies position is in doubt, and I'd doubt the fans in the stadium will get on his back either. They don't seem to see that we've got players who have been here for and since the championship. Eddie got a good tune out of them last year but maybe the consistency is what separates them being better players.
  4. I feel flatter than that performance now. The push for the minor Euro spots is all we have left, Shearer looking despondent at another year of no sniff of success. I hope we can spend money in the summer because our top talents arent going to want to go year after year without at least half a chance of silverware.
  5. What pisses me off the most is that neither the city players or fans seem to be arsed about winning. Celebrations lacklustre, fans barely clapping the goals.
  6. Stamford bridge is utterly devoid of any atmosphere. Their team is trying to survive a late rally and the most they've mustered is a mild hurrah.
  7. You just never know which version of us is going to turn up this season. Shite in defence, wasteful in attack. Murphy then pumps in an absolute blinder.
  8. Chelsea fans giving it the Oles. First time we've heard them in 80 mins.
  9. Willock looks like he's put a good few pounds on during his recovery
  10. I guess it's difficult to create a plan b when plan a is what you work for for months, and then suddenly you're suffering and the team need to change. Psychology probably plays a large part in that, you're effectively creating another situation because you don't think the players can work with your best option. At the same time, you've got to play to your strengths. While we have had injuries we've seen the depths of our squad and it's fairly shallow. We've seen the limits of the bench lads and we probably got the best from them. I'm still with Howe, it's been an exceptional season, not necessarily for the good always but it's been entertaining. Be careful what you wish for..
