    Leeds Utd

Leeds have done a remarkable job to bounce back to where they are. Wish I'd put money on them winning the league before the season started
  2. Lets hope they see nothing better than mid table mediocrity this season. I would love it if that was the case..
  3. If you're not a Newcastle fan, dont live in this country and know nothing of the city, in all honesty what is going to be the attraction? We've never won a trophy or come near the top of the premiership for years. Once the players are in the door through the money we provide, only then can they get a feel for the place and hopefully will grow to enjoy playing their football here. Like the majority of people, you go for a job as it offers better pay (most of the time) so its no different in football. Luque was lazy though, and his attitude is poor even if he is honest.
  4. Its only 1 game in 38, we only lost 1-0 and we had a bad day at the office - who doesnt? Not concerned in the slightest, if anything its brought those who thought we would get into the top 4 back down to Earth. As long as we learn from the mistakes made, then its time to move on. Bring on West Ham

    Gibson

Gibson is one of the best chairman in the league and Boro are very lucky to have someone like him as without his fanaticism over the years, they would be nowhere near where they are now, thats if they were even still in business. Small fan base is crap to be honest though, Middlesbrough is a big town and there are a lot of peripheral towns which means they could easily fill it as they have done in the past. I think their fans have a certain sense of apathy at the moment though, seeing their better players leave and having a manager without qualifications and without any real idea of how to get them playing attractive football.....sounds a bit like us last year.
  6. Gemmill I generally think that you know you're stuff about football but thats just a stupid comment to make - theres not questioning that Obas got talent, it just has to be fixed to some basic rules as a striker i.e sticking to being onside playing off the last man etc.
  7. I think this seasons deals are nothing short of remarkable. When watching SSN today, it was interesting to see us no longer in the 5 biggest spenders. I think come January if we're challenging on both cup fronts and the league, a couple of very good signings would stand us in good stead in the run in. Then come next summer with hopefully a spot in Europe will come even better signings.
  8. disappointing - could still do a job at RB even if xxxl sam isnt interested in his services in midfield. To be fair, we could do with all the players we have on the right wing at the moment.
  9. Who is on the bench for midfield options?
  10. Nearly 2nd by Arca. Cant help but think there'll be more goals here
  11. I cannot get a stream - tvants just says my version expired and i cant seem to get the updated version to dl!
  12. TVAnts is working I think - just dling the sw now
  13. Any streams? Just got up and dont have Sultana sports
  14. Bellamy is probably worse than Barton in terms of upsetting the dressing room. Yet another talent gone to waste because of petulance and lack of professionalism
  15. I thought the midfield was solid with all 3 players putting in a committed performance. The flair came from left back which is a point to make. A lot of people are talking about creative midfielders - we've got a few in Zog, Milner & Duff when fit. Once Enrique comes in at LB, we can get Zog back into the midfield and change things around. We've still got Nobby who while not being the quickest definitely has the footballing brain we need to get breaks. No need for such negativity. Villa are a team who are looking to attain the same kind of league position as ourselves so we should consider it level pegging at this stage.
  16. What was the level of possession? We seemed to have a lot of control of the game/ball and generally the passing was very good. Just seemed a bit aimless when putting it in the box
  17. General Practice really, building & construction are a little more specialist and I dont possess the qualifications required.
  18. Too many big egos to be able to keep them all under control. West Ham once again relegation candidates this season
  19. I said Man Utd to win it before a ball was kicked. Next few games crucial for them for if Chelsea get a march on them, they'll struggle to make up ground
  20. Anyone here a surveyor first of all?

    Spuds

Everton look like theyve got a couple of cracking players however if they succumb to injury then I dont think they'll keep the pace up. Spurs on the other hand must have one of the biggest squads in the league
  22. Aye Scraps here, they are pure fat though
